Dr. James Thorp is an obstetrician/gynecologist and maternal fetal medicine physician who has served his obstetrical patients for over 44 years. He was heavily influenced by Dr Semmelweis’s principles and practice in the mid-1800’s in Vienna. Dr. Thorp finished medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan where he received the top clinical ob/gyn -David S Diamond Award- in his class.
