For the last two and a half years, I have devoted myself completely to teaching, both offline and online. I consciously stepped away from writing competitive examinations, whether UPSC or KPSC, and chose to build myself as an educator and mentor.
My journey as an aspirant has never been an easy one. It has been filled with setbacks, disappointments, and what often felt like bad luck.
I qualified Prelims and appeared for the Mains, but I could not clear it. I faced disappointment in the SI physical test on three occasions. I also went through the physical tests for Excise Inspector and Assistant Jailor without getting the result I wanted. I cleared the KAS Mains from the 2019 notification but missed the interview stage.
Then, for nearly two and a half years, I did not write a single competitive examination.
Instead, I chose another path.
I focused entirely on teaching, mentoring students, building LA FORCA, and helping thousands of aspirants move forward in their own journeys. Today, LA FORCA is growing successfully, and I have the opportunity to expand it further, including building a stronger offline presence.
But somewhere inside me, a question remained unanswered:
“What if I try one more time?”
For a long time, I was confused about whether I should return to UPSC or completely focus on KPSC. After thinking deeply about my priorities, responsibilities, and where I am today, I have finally made my decision.
I am going to write the KPSC Degree Level examinations in 2027.
I know this is a risk.
I know that I am no longer just an aspirant. I am an educator. I am a mentor. I have students who look up to me, responsibilities to manage, and an institution to build.
The transition from being a teacher to becoming a student again is not easy.
A teacher is expected to guide others, but a student must once again sit down, struggle, revise, make mistakes, face uncertainty, and prove himself.
And that is exactly what I want to experience once again.
I want to be a student again.
Not because I have failed as a teacher.
Not because I am unhappy with what I have built.
But because there is one unfinished chapter in my own journey, and I don't want to leave it unfinished without giving myself one final opportunity.
This decision does not mean I am quitting teaching.
I will never quit teaching.
LA FORCA will continue. My students will continue to be my responsibility. My role as an educator and mentor will remain.
But alongside that, I will once again become an aspirant.
I want to understand the life of a student again, the pressure of targets, the frustration of a bad mock test, the excitement of improvement, the fear before an examination, and the satisfaction of finally achieving something after years of struggle.
Perhaps this journey will make me a better educator too.
I know there is no guarantee of success.
I know the competition will be intense.
I know that age, responsibilities, time, and circumstances are different now.
But sometimes in life, we don't need a guarantee.
We just need the courage to try.
I have already experienced failure.
I have already experienced disappointment.
I have already walked away from examinations for two and a half years.
Now I want to find out what happens when I give myself one final, disciplined, honest attempt.
This is not a comeback for social media.
This is not about proving myself to anyone.
This is personal.
This is about closing an unfinished chapter.
So, once again, I am going to sit on the other side of the classroom.
Once again, I will open the books.
Once again, I will make notes.
Once again, I will revise.
Once again, I will write mock tests.
Once again, I will face the uncertainty of an examination.
Teacher to Student.
Mentor to Aspirant.
Guide to Fighter.
I know the road ahead will not be easy.
But I am ready.
This is my final battle.
This is my last chance.
This is my last dance.
And whatever the result may be, I want to walk away knowing that I gave myself one final, fearless attempt.
Let's see where this journey takes me.
