It’s been a few days and now I feel comfortable discussing the Signal leak.

My gut has told me the entire time that something is off about the whole chat and the means in which the information was leaked. I am and have been under the impression that the editor was likely intentionally added to the chat or was in on the leak from the start. Here are my reasons for thinking this.

1. First and foremost the leak had no negative impacts on the operation and was leaked well after the mission had taken place.

2. The chats themselves appear well groomed and proofread for public consumption. No arguments, inappropriate language, excellent team cohesion, and even some internal pushback showing the balance in the admin.

3. Perfectly follows the plan Pete Hegseth laid out in Europe in February regarding the “division of labor”. JD talking about “not wanting to bail Europe out again” (even though they will every time).

4. Most importantly, no one is being held responsible for the leak and the U.S. is downplaying the situation, while deflecting to Biden’s and Hillary’s opsec screw ups during past administrations.

Why would this be intentionally leaked?

I’ve heard a lot of talk about how this is so embarrassing and shows how incompetent this administration is… they’re all incompetent and use systems and services that should probably not be used for classified and sensitive information. It’s actually a perfect way to leak information and the issues surrounding using Signal itself will be almost completely ignored by the Lehman. I’ve also talked about “embarrassment” in geopolitics and how it doesn’t affect anything but ego 90% of the time. How many times have you heard that Putin has been embarrassed and yet the west is the one crawling to the negotiating table looking for a pause.

To me this chat shows the Trump demographic that behind closed doors operations are well run and successful, the administration is all on the same page and running smoothly, there are checks and balances and that there seems to high moral and camaraderie. Potentially probing for public opinion on the Yemen strikes or further war with Iran. Trump had claimed that he would end the war but “peace through strength” turned out be mostly strength and not so much peace.
Russian Geran-2 drones are hitting the city of Poltava tonight with power outages reported. It is not clear whether energy infrastructure was the target or if the blackout was a side effect of the strike.

“We are gradually, not as quickly as some would like, but nevertheless persistently and confidently moving towards achieving all the goals declared at the beginning of this operation. Along the entire line of combat contact, our troops have the strategic initiative. I said just recently: We will finish them off. There is reason to believe that we will finish them off.” -Putin

❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷/🇴🇲 NEW: Iran has delivered its response to Trump's letter through a message conveyed by the Sultanate of Oman

According to Al-Mayadeen and other informed sources, the Iranian response consists mainly of the following points:

1. Iran reaffirms that it will not negotiate directly with the United States, especially under the policy of maximum pressure, and it rejects the American approach categorically.

2. Iran states that it does not negotiate on behalf of any regional power, and that Iran does not dictate the foreign policy of other nations or groups, including Yemen's Ansarallah, which is an independent ally.

3. Iran states that it will not accept Trump's 'unrealistic conditions', and that the U.S. demands were so extensive that they cannot be entertained even hypothetically.

4. Iran warns unequivocally that any military or hostile action, whether by the United States or any of its 'stooges', will be met with an Iranian response that will encompass all U.S. military assets in the Middle East.
