UKMTO reports that two IRGC gunboats fired on an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, 20 Nautical Miles northeast of Oman. The tanker and crew are both safe.

Earlier, the IRGC announced that the Strait of Hormuz would be closed again due to the ongoing US naval blockade.
