Nedhi Gibe Woreda Awarded Model Woreda of 2026 by Ministry of Health

The Ministry of Health has recognized Nedhi Gibe woreda as the Model Woreda of 2026. The woreda is one of the implementation sites of the Jimma University Capacity Building and Mentorship Program (JU-CBMP).
The recognition was awarded in acknowledgment of the woreda’s outstanding performance in advancing the health information agenda and its efforts in creating model health institutions.
Jimma University CBMP extends its congratulations to the Woreda Health Office team and all health facilities in Nedhi Gibe woreda for this remarkable achievement and continued dedication to strengthening the national health system.
