🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei (H) in Meeting with Senior Armed Forces Commanders:

1. Maintain Maximum Readiness and Enhance Both Hardware and Software Capabilities.

Imam Khamenei (H), this afternoon met with a group of senior commanders and officials of the Armed Forces on the occasion of the new year. He described the Armed Forces as the nation’s shield and refuge against any aggressor. Emphasizing the continuous strengthening of maximum readiness and vigilance in both hardware and software aspects to fulfill this national responsibility, Imam Khamenei (H) stated: “The country’s advancements have angered and frustrated Iran’s adversaries. Of course, there are weaknesses in areas such as economic issues, which undoubtedly require efforts to address.”

4. Imam Khamenei (H) considered the hardware readiness of the Armed Forces to mean strengthening weaponry capabilities and enhancing organizational, structural, and livelihood aspects. He added: “Alongside hardware readiness, software readiness—meaning faith in one’s mission and certainty in the righteousness of the path—is very important, and there are hostile efforts to undermine it.”

5. Imam Khamenei (H) regarded the Islamic and independent nature of the Islamic Republic as the reason for the enmity against it and added: “What makes the enemy sensitive is not the name ‘Islamic Republic’ but the will of a country to be Muslim, independent, and with identity, and not to rely on others for its dignity, which angers them.”

6. Imam Khamenei (H), pointing to examples of the double standards of global bullies in allowing themselves to possess the most severe and catastrophic types of weapons while prohibiting defensive progress for others, said: “Certainty, faith, willpower, courage, and reliance on God must exist maximally in the Armed Forces because grand armies in history that lacked these features have been defeated.”

7. Imam Khamenei (H) considered maintaining and enhancing software readiness in society to require efforts from various sectors, including the national media and propaganda apparatuses, and added: “Fortunately, today the country is not only far ahead in terms of hardware readiness compared to the past but also very advanced in terms of software readiness, exemplified by the indescribable enthusiasm of hundreds and thousands of faithful and motivated youth to be present in fields requiring struggle.”

8. Imam Khamenei (H) also congratulated the new year to all Armed Forces personnel and their families and appreciated the valuable role of spouses and families in accompanying the forces to accomplish their missions.

9. At the beginning of this meeting, Major General Bagheri, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, referred to the events of the year 1403 in Iran and the region. He mentioned the global awakening on the issue of Palestine and the historic resistance of the people of Gaza and Lebanon against the crimes of the Zionist regime as proud peaks in the fight against oppression. He also honored the memory of the martyrs and commanders of the resistance.

10. General Bagheri listed strengthening defensive and deterrent capabilities, producing advanced equipment and weapons, conducting numerous high-quality exercises, complete coordination among the Armed Forces, contributing to the country’s progress and development, full synergy between the field and diplomacy, and cooperation with the government to realize the year’s slogan as the programs and actions of the Armed Forces. He thanked the honorable President for his commitment to supporting the country’s defense sector and said:

“The Armed Forces, backed by the people, are in full readiness and will leave the enemies of Iran longing for their sinister goals.”

On April 14, the North troop group eliminated enemy manpower and equipment in the Krasnaya Yaruga border area and continued the liberation of the Kursk region

Having suffered colossal losses in manpower and equipment, the AFU command decided to replenish the units with personnel from other directions. The incoming reinforcements are being systematically targeted by our fire. At the same time, the Northmen are securing the Russian territory and the areas along the border.

▪️A number of soldiers of the 1st Air Force Rifle Brigade have been deployed to the village of Krasnopolye (Bryansk region) from the Kherson region, along with the forcibly conscripted Ukrainians who completed boot camp on training grounds in forests near Chuhuiv (Kharkiv region). The Northmen target the coming reinforcements with comprehensive fire attacks.

▪️In the Demidovka direction the enemy made two attempts to deploy troops closer to the Russian-Ukrainian border. Both AFU assault groups were eliminated by artillery fire while still in Ukrainian territory.

▪️An AFU assault group has been detected while attempting to advance in the direction of Popovka at noon. Majority of the enemy troops were eliminated as a result of a comprehensive fire attack. The survivors hastily retreated deep into the Sumy region.

▪️The Northerners are completing the mopping-up of the western outskirts of the village of Popovka, along with the forest belts on the border. All detected enemy hideouts are being targeted by comprehensive fire attacks.

In this direction for the past 24 hours the Northmen eliminated 11 units of enemy equipment.

In the Sumy direction, despite continuous deployment of enemy troops towards the village of Oleshnya, the Northmen carry on their successful advance and progress towards the complete liberation of the border areas near Sudzha.

▪️The AFU command attempted to deploy several assault groups from Yunakovka towards the village of Oleshnya. The groups were promptly eliminated while still in Ukrainian territory.

▪️The enemy continues to suffer major losses in the vicinity of the St. Nicholas Monastery. Scattered groups of AFU soldiers desert their positions and try to run back into the Sumy region.

▪️The Northerners are also advancing in the Sumy region, expanding the sanitary zone near the settlements of Veselivka, Zhuravka and Basivka.

▪️Our engineering units continue demining the border area near Sudzha. Over the past week a total of 94920 explosive objects have been neutralized.

The total advance of the Northmen in the Sumy region was over 1800 meters, 9 units of enemy armored vehicles were destroyed.

In the Liptsy direction, our UAV operators eliminated an enemy assault group along with their Humvee IMV.

In the Volchansk direction, nine AFU assault groups along with their armored and unarmored vehicles were eliminated as a result of comprehensive fire attacks.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy's losses amounted to over 340 people (including over 220 in the Sumy direction and over 60 in the Krasnaya Yaruga direction). Also uncovered and destroyed:

In the Krasnaya Yaruga direction:
▪️One Humvee AFV (USA);
▪️Two 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers and one D-30 howitzer;
▪️Five pickup trucks;
▪️Two ATVs and a buggy.

In the Sumy direction:
▪️One T-64 tank;
▪️Two APCs, including one M113 APC (USA);
▪️Six AFVs, including one MaxxPro (USA);
▪️Five howitzers, including one M777 howitzer (USA) and one D-30 howitzer;
▪️Two mortars;
▪️Eighteen vehicles;
▪️Six UAV crews;
▪️Eleven airplane-type UAVs and four copters of various types.

In the Volchansk and Liptsy directions:
▪️Three IMVs, including two Humvee IMVs and one Canadian-made Roshel Senator IMV;
▪️Seven vehicles;
▪️Three airplane-type UAVs (including two Leleka-100 and one A1-CM Furia) and sixteen copters of various types.

Prisoners are at the heart of the national struggle and a symbol of our people’s unity and resistance

To our heroic people in the homeland and in the diaspora,

This year, Palestinian Prisoners’ Day comes as our people face one of the most brutal and bloody periods in their history, under an ongoing zionist genocide targeting Palestinians wherever they are — in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Quds, and even inside prison cells. There, the Palestinian prisoners’ movement stands at the forefront of the confrontation, in the trenches of steadfastness and dignity, paying a heavy price in defense of land, rights, freedom, and honor.

On this national day of struggle, we stand with pride and reverence before the heroism of our female and male prisoners, who face — day and night — the fascist policies of the occupation, including systematic torture, deadly medical neglect, starvation, humiliation, and the denial of basic human rights. Their suffering reflects the broader genocidal policies targeting all segments of our people, especially in heroic, steadfast Gaza and the defiant West Bank.

We extend our deep respect and tribute to the martyrs of the prisoners’ movement, foremost among them the martyred leader Walid Daqqah, who passed away due to deliberate medical neglect, remaining a living symbol of sacrifice and steadfastness in the face of zionist injustice.

We also salute the imprisoned leaders, foremost among them Comrade Ahmed Sa’adat, Secretary-General of the PFLP and a symbol of steadfast resistance, along with his comrades in the prisons: Ahed Abu Ghoulmeh, Kamil Abu Hanish, Walid Hanatsheh, Samer Arbid, Zahir Shashtari, and others, alongside national leaders such as Marwan Barghouti, Hassan Salameh, Bassam al-Saadi, Wajdi Joudeh, Bassem al-Khandakji, and a long list of prisoners. We proudly recognize our women prisoners, youth detainees, and prisoners from Jerusalem, inside the ’48 territories, and across the Arab world.

What the prisoners—particularly those from Gaza—are enduring constitutes a full-fledged war crime. Dozens have been executed, while the fate of hundreds remains unknown amid a horrific campaign of enforced disappearance, targeting detained women, children, and the sick since October 7, 2023. The fascist, racist occupation government, led by war criminals such as Ben Gvir, has institutionalized a system of systematic torture and abuse, openly inciting the killing of prisoners and stripping them of hard-won rights achieved through blood and hunger strikes.

Today, over 9,900 prisoners, including 29 women, around 400 children, and more than 3,498 administrative detainees, are held under inhumane conditions — a disgrace to the silent world.
