These are some questions:
1. My opinion about the market right now and some trends I follow.
2. If a 40 years old person wants to invest $1 million, what advice would I give on allocating funds between equities and fixed income?
3. If I had $100,000, how would I invest them?
4. Who do you have in your network from this company? (Name dropping really helped - tanish bilish 😂)
Last interviewer was out of office and she got replaced. The new guy was a director in New Jersey office and the best part is that we knew each other from LinkedIn. I connected with him a week ago.

Job update
After my second interview, I’ve received an email from the hiring manager. Before my second interview I’ve mentioned in my application that I don’t have a stem extension for OPT. I can work under F-1 visa for 12 months unlike stem majors, who can work for 36 months.
I didn’t want to reply through the email and decided to schedule a call to convince her that I’m going to stay in America and planning to obtain a green card within a year. I got myself 24 hours to figure out what to tell her.
I immediately contacted my lawyer, he gave me some options and then I had a call with my professor. He told me what to say to the hr.
I explained everything and glazed the firm so much 😂
I was waiting for their response for 3 days. Everyone liked me at the firm and it was hr’s decision to move my application forward.
Monday afternoon I have received an informal invite to the third interview. The guy who wants to interview me overlooks the Midwest market and responsible for Chicago office. On top of that, he is an alum from my university.
A high finance job is 99% confirmed and Chicago is waiting for me 😭

The first thing I felt as soon as I came back to Uzbekistan is a peace of mind. This the most important. No more dealing with bs stress like rent, car, food, and missing my family & friends. Now, I have all of these.
