What is a language?🤔

Language is a powerful tool to make social bonds and connections. It is the way we share, express the human thoughts, ideas, opinions and even feelings. If it is used properly, it will lead to many inventions, understandings of mysteries, leaderships and a lot of deals.

However this is not a concrete definition of the language. It is associated to every aspect of the human life and it is formed during the centuries.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER
Billie Eilish
🔥4❤‍🔥3🥰1🕊1
I want you to stay
'Til I'm in the grave
'Til I rot away, dead and buried
'Til I'm in the casket you carry
If you go, I'm going too, uh
'Cause it was always you, alright
And if I'm turnin' blue, please don't save me
Nothing left to lose without my baby
Birds of a feather, we should stick together, I know
I said I'd never think I wasn't better alone
Can't change the weather, might not be forever
But if it's forever, it's even better
And I don't know what I'm cryin' for
I don't think I could love you more
It might not be long, but baby, I
I'll love you 'til the day that I die
'Til the day that I die
'Til the light leaves my eyes
'Til the day that I die
I want you to see, hm
How you look to me, hm
You wouldn't believe if I told ya
You would keep the compliments I throw ya
But you're so full of shit, uh
Tell me it's a bit, no
Say you don't see it, your mind's polluted
Say you wanna quit, don't be stupid
And I don't know what I'm cryin' for
I don't think I could love you more
Might not be long, but baby, I
Don't wanna say goodbye
Birds of a feather, we should stick together, I know ('til the day that I die)
I said I'd never think I wasn't better alone ('til the light leaves my eyes)
Can't change the weather, might not be forever ('til the day I die)
But if it's forever, it's even better
I knew you in another life
You had that same look in your eyes
I love you, don't act so surprised

👩🏻: Why are you afraid of learning English?
👤: Because, you know, it is getting very tough, many new words are appearing per second every day!
👩🏻: Whaatt?

"There is at least one word being created per second in English"

Wrong. English doesn't literally create official new words every second. However, people constantly invent and use new words. This happens because language changes with technology, science, social trends and culture. This way English adopts new words.

So when does a word become "official"?

First, people start using a new word. It spreads by media or online, or just orally. Then, linguists study the word and its usage. Later they add it to the dictionary. That is how English vocabulary grows.

My favourite poem in English and probably the first one. It's about rushing, living a life, searching for its meaning, fear of failure, unconsciousness(maybe the moral of daydreaming) and so on.

When you lose focus in class so you start to focus on focusing, but while you're focusing on focusing you forget to focus on what the teacher is actually saying.

Who Named the Earth? 🌍
The name "Earth" doesn't come from a single person—it evolved over time from ancient languages.

Etymology: The word comes from the Old English "eorþe", which meant ground, soil, or dry land.

Germanic Roots: It also has roots in Old High German ("erda") and Old Saxon ("ertha").

The Outlier: Unlike most other planets in our solar system (like Mars or Jupiter), Earth is the only one not named after a Greek or Roman god.

❗️No one officially "named" Earth. In ancient times, people simply used their everyday word for the ground they lived on, and it eventually became the formal name for our planet.
