JAMB Withholds Results of 39,834 UTME Candidates πŸ“

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it has withheld the results of 39,834 candidates out of over 1.9 million who sat for the recently concluded 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In addition, the board revealed that 80 individuals are currently being investigated for exam malpractice, with Anambra State having the highest number of suspects β€” 14 in total.

Speaking during the official release of the 2025 UTME results on Friday, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede also disclosed that 41,000 underaged candidates participated in the exam. Out of these, only 467 met the minimum required score, while 50 candidates were involved in cheating-related offenses.
