In partnership with the Chinese-American Exchange Foundation, One Young World is launching the CUSEF 2024 Young Leaders Scholarship to identify eight outstanding young leaders from around the world. The fellows will be selected based on their proven positive social impact on addressing global issues such as climate change, poverty, gender equality and public health. The scholarship will allow eight influential young leaders promoting positive change to participate in the One Young 2024 World Summit in Montreal and join the global community of One Young World ambassadors.

Selection criteria:
-The age is from 18 to 30 years old at the time of the One Young 2024 World Summit.
-Citizens of all countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
-He demonstrated interest in promoting East-West exchanges.
-Have a proven track record in the field of leadership.
-Demonstrate a commitment to making changes.
-They solve key local and/or global problems in their work.

The program provides a two-week summer summit, during which participants will receive useful lectures from UN representatives, will be able to visit excursions to international organizations, work on personal projects and communicate with like-minded people from all over the world.

This year's theme is "Summit of the Future: Challenges and Opportunities".

To participate, you must be enrolled in a postgraduate program, be between the ages of 22 and 32 and speak English. Participation in the program is free of charge.

🌟Call for application for Climate Change Media Partnership COP29 Reporting Fellowship Program🌟

📍Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
📆Date: 11 - 22 November 2024
⌛️Application deadline: 6 June 2024
CCMP Fellows will travel to Baku to attend the entire duration of the UN climate negotiations, with arrival planned for November 9, 2024, and departure on November 24, 2024.

The CCMP will cover non-refundable economy-class airfare, accommodation, meals, travel medical insurance and ground transportation costs related to Fellowship participation.
Organizers will also facilitate the press accreditation process and provide logistical support relating to the trip. Please note that the process of obtaining any necessary visas is the Fellow's individual responsibility, though the CCMP will reimburse visa costs.

CCMP покроет невозвратные авиабилеты экономическим классом, проживание, питание, туристическую медицинскую страховку и расходы на наземный транспорт, связанные с участием в стипендии.
Организаторы также окажут содействие в процессе аккредитации прессы и предоставят логистическую поддержку во время поездки. Обратите внимание, что процесс получения любых необходимых виз является индивидуальной ответственностью стипендиата, хотя CCMP возместит расходы на визу.

📆Duration: 3 - 11 Months

The Internship Programme provides selected students, enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate degree programme or recent graduates, with the opportunity to supplement their academic knowledge with practical work experience in a field related to the work of FAO.

Stipend:
Interns will receive a stipend in local currency not exceeding US$ 700 per month. Stipends for sponsored interns will be directly provided by the sponsoring institutions.

World Environment Day!

Held annually on 5th June, World Environment Day brings attention to the protection and restoration of our planet Earth. Since its designation in 1972 by the UN General Assembly, this day has been used to create awareness about the challenges to our environment.
The theme for this year's World Environment Day is, "Our land. Our future. We are #GenerationRestoration.”

🌟Call for application for the FAO World Food Day Poster Contest 2024🌟

📆Date: December 2024
⌛️Application deadline: 8 November 2024

-The Contest is open to children and youth between the ages of 5 and 19, living anywhere in the world.
-Participation is free of charge.
-The competition is divided into the following categories: 5 to 8, 9 to 12, 13 to 15, and 16 to 19.
-poster entries may be drawn, painted or sketched using pens, pencils, crayons or charcoal, or using oil, acrylic or watercolour paint, as well as mixed media. Digitally created artwork is also permitted. No photographs are allowed.
-15 posters in each category (60 posters) will be selected for the shortlist and will receive a certificate for this achievement.

-15 плакатов в каждой категории (60 плакатов) будут выбраны в шорт-лист и получат сертификат за это достижение.
