This annual essay contest is organized in an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world's youth in promoting a culture of peace and sustainable development. It also aims to inspire society to learn from the young minds and to think about how each of us can make a difference in the world.

Awards
The following awards will be given in the Children’s category and Youth category respectively:
1st Prize: Certificate, prize of 100,000 Yen (approx. US$740 as of Feb., 2023) and gift ... 1 entrant
2nd Prize: Certificate, prize of 50,000 Yen (approx. US$370 as of Feb., 2023) and gift ... 3 entrants
3rd Prize: Certificate and gift ... 5 entrants
Honorable Mention: Certificate and gift ... 25 entrants

* 1st to 3rd prize winners will be invited to the Winners Gathering to be held online.

The purpose of the contest is to hear the participants' opinion on how nature can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. Students are encouraged to approach the topic as they wish.

Requirements:
It is open to all children around the world aged from 7 to 18 years in two age categories: 7-11 years and 12-18 years

Advantages:
The winner of the Main Prize will receive a trophy and a cash prize of £1,000 and £500 for his school

🌟Call for application for BRICS Philosophical Essay Competition "Vision 2050"🌟
⌛️Application deadline: 1 May 2024

Nationals from the BRICS countries, aged 18 to 45, are eligible to apply for participation in the contest. The jury will select ten winners, three of whom will be given the opportunity to attend the BRICS Civil Forum in Moscow in person.

Round 1 (qualifying):
April 2 – contest launch
May 1 – essay submission deadline
May 15 – qualifying round results announced
The qualifying stage results in selecting 10 best essays for the Round 2
Round 2 (final):
May 31 – winners announced

Принять участие в состязании могут граждане государств БРИКС в возрасте от 18 до 45 лет. Жюри определит 10 победителей, троим из которых будет предоставлена возможность принять очное участие в Гражданском форуме БРИКС в Москве.

1 этап (отборочный):
2 апреля – запуск конкурса
До 1 мая – прием работ
15 мая – объявление результатов отборочного этапа

По итогам отборочного этапа будут отобраны 10 лучших работ, авторы которых пройдут в финал

2 этап (финал):
