Five people who provide humanitarian aid at the poland-belarus border face serious criminal charges. Up to 5 years in prison!
🫵🏽 The trial will begin autumn 2024 at the District Court in the city of Hajnówka, Poland.
The humanitarian crisis connected to the expansion of the eastern migration routes at the poland-belarus border persists since 2021. Thousands of people coming from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and many more attempting to cross the borders of Fortress Europe through Poland. The polish government responded to these developments with the politics of violence and pushbacks as the local population and grassroots networks of organisations, individual persons and collective efforts became the only real line of delivering humanitarian aid.

Solidaritätsabend für inhaftierte Anarchisten in Russland

Seit drei Jahren sitzen sechs Anarchisten und Antifaschisten aus dem Ural und Westsibirien im Knast. Die russischen Sicherheitskräfte werfen ihnen vor, eine „terroristische Vereinigung“ gegründet und Anschläge auf Behörden geplant zu haben. Nach ihrer Festnahme wurden alle brutal gefoltert. In Russland ist dieser Prozess als „Fall Tjumen“ bekannt – nach der Stadt Tjumen, wo die erste Festnahme stattfand.
Am dritten Jahrestag der Verhaftung erzählen wir über den Fall und die Genossen, die hinter Gittern sitzen. Über Videokonferenz werden sich Angehörige der inhaftierten Anarchisten zuschalten. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, Briefe an die Gefangenen zu schreiben, eine Spende für ihre Unterstützung zu machen und themenbezogenen Merch zu kaufen.
Der Jahrestag der Verhaftung der Angeklagten im „Fall Tjumen“ fällt auf die Internationale Woche der Solidarität mit anarchistischen Gefangenen. Komm vorbei, um mehr über den Kampf und die Repressionen in Russland zu erfahren und Solidarität mit den Genoss*innen zu zeigen!

Уже 3 года шестеро анархистов и антифашистов из Урала и Западной Сибири находятся в заключении. Российские силовики обвинили товарищей в создании «террористического сообщества» и подготовке атак на органы власти. После задержания всех жестоко пытали. В России этот процесс известен как «тюменское дело» — по названию города Тюмень, где произошло первое задержание.
В третью годовщину ареста мы расскажем о деле и товарищах, которые находятся за решёткой. По видеосвязи к встрече подключатся близкие заключённых анархистов. Будет возможность написать письма узникам, сделать донат на оплату адвокатов для них, а также приобрести тематический мерч.

This year at BASE we’re holding a fund-raising dinner and letter writing event along with a talk by ex-prisoner Toby Shone, who will speak about the international week, the background of Operation Adream*, his own prison experience and the importance of solidarity, as well as the continual need for revolutionary action.
