Karim Khan, the chief prosecutor was elected to his position in February 2021, with U.S. backing.

If this is indeed so, it is unconscionable interference in a sovereign country's democratic process – and will likely not redound to Washington's benefit.

May Hashem cause our enemies to submit before our soldiers, and grant them salvation and crown
them with victory.
