Tvær þyrlur Landhelgisgæslunnar, áhöfnin á TF-SIF eftirlitsflugvél Landhelgisgæslunnar, sjóbjörgunarsveitir á Vestfjörðum og áhöfnin á varðskipinu Þór voru kallaðar út laust fyrir klukkan 12 í kjölfar þess að skipstjóri farþegaskips hafði samband við stjórnstöð Landhelgisgæslunnar á uppkallsrásinni VHF 16 og tilkynnti að báturinn hefði tekið niðri í Ísafjarðardjúpi, út af Ögri.

47 eru um borð í bátnum en engar tilkynningar hafa borist um slys á fólki né verið tilkynnt um að leki hafi komið að honum. Sjólag á vettvangi er með besta móti en mikil þoka.

Vegna fjölda farþega um borð í skipinu var hópslysaáætlun virkjuð og óskað eftir því að samhæfingarstöð almannavarna yrði mönnuð.

Á þessari stundu er unnið að skipulagi þess að koma farþegum frá borði áður en reynt verður að koma skipinu á flot. Björgunarskip eru komin á vettvang og aðstoð varðskipsins Þórs hefur verið afturkölluð.

Gámurinn er sagður vera 20 feta og einangraður, söluverðið nemur kr. 300.000 m/vsk. og afhendingu.

Söluaðili sendir kaupanda reikning frá fyrirtæki sem er málinu óviðkomandi og setur bankaupplýsingar einstaklings sem móttekur fjármunina inn á sölureikninginn. Gámurinn er svo í framhaldinu ekki afhentur kaupanda. Lögregla hefur þegar móttekið 5 mál síðustu vikuna þar sem fjármunir kaupanda hafa tapast.
