فقیہ ملت مفتی جلال الدین احمد امجدی حنفی علیہ رحمۃ اللہ القوی کی پیدائش ١٣٥٢ه‍ مطابق ١٩٣٣ء میں ہوئی۔ ٢٩ جمادی الاولی ١٣٧٨ھ مطابق ١٩٤٨ء کو صدرالشریعہ سے مرید ہو کر سلسلہ قادریہ رضویہ میں داخل ہوئے۔ آپ جید عالم، مفتی اسلام، صاحب تصانیف اور استاذ الفقہا ہیں۔ فتاوی فیض الرسول اور انوار الحدیث آپ کی مشہور کتب ہیں۔ آپ کی تصنیفی، تدریسی، دینی، ملی، علمی اور تقریری خدمات اور بالخصوص دینی مدارس کا قیام آپ کی زندگی کے ایسے شاندار کارنامے ہیں جن پر اہلسنت آپ کا جتنا شکریہ ادا کریں کم ہے۔ ٤ جمادی الاخری ١٤٢٢ھ مطابق ٢٤ اگست ٢٠٠١ء شب جمعہ بارہ بجکر پچپن منٹ پر ٧٠ سال کی عمر میں آپ کا وصال ہوا۔ مزار شریف اوجھا گنج (ضلع بستی یو پی) ہند میں ہے۔ (انوار الحدیث)

Faqeeh-e-Millat Mufti Jalaluddin Ahmad Amjadi Hanafi (Alayhir Rahmah) was born in 1352 Hijri (1933). He pledged his allegiance in Qadiriyah Razawiyyah Spiritual Order on the blessed hands of Sadr al-Shariah (Alayhir Rahmah) on 29th Jumad al-Ula 1378 Hijri (1948). He was a great scholar, jurist, author and teacher of teachers. Fatawa Faiz-ur-Rasool and Anwar-ul-Hadith are his famous books. His literary, teaching, religious, national, scholarly and oratory services and especially the establishment of religious institutes are some of the great achievements of his life for which the Ahl as-Sunnah cannot thank him enough. He passed away on 4th Jumad al-Akhirah 1422 Hijri (24th August 2001) at the age of 70 on Friday night at 12:55am. His Mazar Sharif is located in Ojhaganj, Basti District U.P., India.
