صحابیٔ رسول ﷺ، نواسۂ صدیق اکبر، حضرت سیدنا ابو بکر عبد الله بن الزبیر بن العوام مخزومی اسدی قرشی رضی الله تعالی عنہ وارضاہ اسلام میں مہاجرین میں پہلے بچے ہیں جو پیدا ہوئے۔ حضور ﷺ نے آپ کو آپ کے نانا جناب صدیق اکبر کی کنیت ابوبکر عطا فرمائی اور انہیں کا نام یعنی عبد الله رکھا۔ سیدنا ابو بکر صدیق رضی الله عنہ نے کان میں اذان دی۔ حضور انور ﷺ نے چھوہارے سے تحنیک کی۔ آپ کے پیٹ میں سب سے پہلے حضور ﷺ کا لعاب شریف پہنچا۔ آٹھ سال کی عمر میں حضور سے بیعت کی۔ آپ بہت زیادہ نماز روزے کے عادی تھے۔ آپ کے والد حضرت زبیر بن عوام، والدہ بی بی اسماء بنت صدیق، نانا صدیق اکبر، دادی بی بی صفیہ (حضور ﷺ کی پھوپھی صاحبہ)، خالہ حضرت ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ ہیں۔ 64ھ میں آپ نے خلافت کا اعلان کیا۔ 17 جمادی الاولی 73 ہجری میں شہادت سے سرفراز ہوئے۔ (حلیة الاولياء، تاریخ الخلفاء)

The Noble Companion of the beloved Prophet ﷺ, Grandson of Siddiq al-Akbar, Sayyidna Abu Bakr Abdullah bin Az-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam Makhzumi Asadi Qurashi (RadiyAllahu Anhu wa Ardah) was the first child born in Islam among the emigrants. The beloved Prophet gave him the surname Abu Bakr of his grandfather Siddiq al-Akbar and named him Abdullah. Sayyidna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq gave the Adhan in his ear. The beloved Prophet ﷺ gave him tahneek with a dried date. The pure and blessed saliva of the Noble Prophet ﷺ was the first thing that reached his stomach. He pledged allegiance to the beloved Prophet ﷺ at the age of eight. He would perform prayers and observe fasting a lot. His father is Sayyiduna Zubayr bin al-Awwam, his mother is Sayyidatuna Asma bint Siddiq, his maternal grandfather is Sayyiduna Siddiq al-Akbar, his paternal grandmother is Sayyidatuna Safiyyah (the maternal aunt of the Holy Prophet ﷺ), his maternal aunt is Umm al-Mu’mineen Sayyidatuna A’ishah Siddiqah (RadiyAllahu Anhum Ajma’een).
