والد و استاذ اعلی حضرت، رئیس المتکلمین، رئیس الاتقیاء، حضرت علامہ مولانا مفتی نقی علی خان قادری برکاتی رحمۃ اللہ تعالی علیہ 1246ھ میں جمادی الاخری کے آخری یا رجب کے پہلے روز بریلی شریف میں پیدا ہوئے۔ آپ مرید و خلیفۂ خاتم الاکابر شاہ آل رسول مارہروی علیہ الرحمہ، باعمل عالم دین، مفتی اسلام، سیرت، عقائد، اعمال اور تصوف وغیرہ موضوعات پر پچیس سے زائد شاندار کتب کے مصنف، بہترین مدرس، اور ایک عظیم علمی و روحانی شخصیت تھے۔ 29 یا 30 ذو القعدہ 1297ھ بمطابق 1880ء بروز جمعرات 51 برس، 5 ماہ کی عمر میں وصال فرمایا اور سٹی قبرستان بہاری پور نزد پولیس لائن سٹی اسٹیشن بریلی شریف، یو پی، ہند میں اپنے والد محترم کے پہلو میں آرام فرما ہوئے۔ (مولانا نقی علی خان: حیات اور علمی و ادبی کارنامے)

The honorable father and teacher of AlaHazrat, Ra’ees al-Mutakallimeen, Ra’ees al-Atqiya, Allamah Mawlana Mufti Naqi Ali Khan Qadiri Barakati (Alayhir Rahmah) was born in Bareilly Sharif on the last day of Jumad al-Ukhra or the first day of Rajab al-Murajjab, 1246 AH. He was a disciple and caliph of Khatim al-Akabir Shah Aal-e-Rasool Marehrawi, pious practicing scholar, Mufti of Islam, author of more than 25 remarkable books on the topics of Seerah, beliefs, practices, mysticism, etc., excellent teacher, and a great knowledgeable and spiritual personality. He passed away at the age of 51 years and 5 months on Thursday, 29th or 30th Dhu al-Qa’dah 1297 AH (1880 CE), and was laid to rest beside his exalted father in City Graveyard, Biharipur near police line city station, Bareilly Sharif, U.P.
