This #CorporateIncomeTax2023, qualifying companies can use Seamless Filing From Software (#SFFS) to prepare and file Form C-S to IRAS directly with a few clicks of buttons. There are also 2 additional benefits for YA 2023 to YA 2025 to allow companies more time to transit to and familiarise with using #SFFS.

🚨 IRAS has been alerted to a parcel delivery scam seeking GST payment. If you receive a WhatsApp message purportedly from an eCommerce logistics company seeking Goods and Services Tax (GST) to be paid before the release of parcels, do not reply or make any payment.

Scammers attempt to get GST payment from users to facilitate the delivery of their purchased items which is held at the “Singapore border”. The WhatsApp message also shows an image of a fake ‘Certificate of Registration – Goods and Services Tax’ with an IRAS logo.

Members of the public are advised to ignore the scam Whatsapp message. Do not provide any personal, credit card or bank account details, make payments or follow any instructions in the WhatsApp message. Those affected by the scam are advised to lodge police reports.
An early heads-up for you to keep a lookout for an SMS or email on your property tax bill soon.
 
When you do, the payment process is as fuss-free as it gets – simply pay via PayNow QR, AXS or i-banking (DBS, POSB, OCBC or UOB) by 31 Jan 2024.

Also, remember to check that the correct tax rate is applied to your residential property.

From calculating your property tax payable to the one-off rebate you may be entitled to, here are all the things you need to know about your 2024 property tax bill.

- The Government will provide a one-off property tax rebate of up to 100% for all owner-occupied residential properties.

- All one- and two-room HDB owner-occupiers will continue to pay no property tax in 2024.

-For the rest of the owner occupiers in other HDB flat types and private properties, the rebate will be automatically offset against any property tax payable in 2024.
