Mar 10, 2022 • Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty released a very interesting video that gives a closer look on the armament of a Ukrainian anti-tank squad.

The scenes were filmed during a skirmish between #Ukrainian and Russian forces in a undisclosed village in the area of Kyiv.

The footage shows the Ukrainian soldiers advancing towards the village when a firefight broke out.

According to reports a group of Russian soldiers and tanks entered the village and the Ukrainian forces were sent in to push them out.

The weapons we saw in this video range from regular RPG-7s over to Panzerfaust 3s, NLAWs, possible RPV-16 and even M141 BDMs.

Machine guns mostly were PK variants and M240s.

For small arms the video shows a mix of mostly AK variants with ironsights.

ارتش #اوکراین اعلام کرد، یک ایستگاه فرماندهی ارتش #روسیه را منهدم کرده است. #اولکسی_آرستوویچ، مشاور رئیس‌جمهوری اوکراین روز پنجشنبه ۱۷ مارس در یک پیام ویدئویی در شبکه‌های اجتماعی گفت: «این به معنای کشتن شدن احتمالی شماری از ژنرال‌ها و ایجاد وقفه و به‌هم ریختگی سازماندهی در عملیات جنگی خواهد بود.» این اظهارات قابل تأیید از سوی منابع مستقل نیستند.

ستاد مشترک ارتش اوکراین همچنین اعلام کرد که پیشروی نیروهای نظامی روسیه در منطقه #لوهانسک در شرق و شمال غربی متوقف شده است. گفته می‌شود که نیروهای روسیه در شمال غرب منطقه چرسون در مرز منطقه دنیپروپتروفسک نیز متوقف شده‌‌اند.

Drone footage released by the Ukrainian military's top commander reportedly shows an indirect fire operation, possibly mortars, targeting an outpost of the Russian military's 35th Army of the Eastern Military District near #Kyiv.


The drone footage allows the gun teams to accurately adjust fires onto their target. While there are dwellings in the video frame, the #Ukrainian gun teams appear to be focusing their fires on the #Russian vehicles. Some of the vehicles take significant hits and start on fire, while other vehicles likely took significant shrapnel damage not visible from the footage.

This engagement took place near Donetsk at the very edge of Russian controlled territory. It seems as if Ukrainian forces are getting more and more bold every day that this conflict goes on, and that's probably going to put Russia up against a wall since they are so reliant on their artillery advantage in this conflict. When the fighting is at ranges like this, your artillery doesn't matter. If you can't fire without killing your own troops, the weapon system becomes useless.


I could go on at length to discuss the key differences between Deep Battle Doctrine and Maneuver Warfare Doctrine with this individual clip, but I'll refrain from boring the hell out of all of you with a bunch of warfighting college jargon.


All you need to know about this footage is that it was recorded near 48.676411N, 38.104972E just at the edge of Russian controlled Donetsk. It shows members of the Ukrainian 93rd Mechanize Brigade overrunning a Russian defensive position.

Wild footage shows a Russian T-72 covered in infantry troops speeding through a #Ukrainian ambush. The Russian troops are shot off the vehicle at close range and can be seen falling onto the road in front of the Ukrainian soldiers. The tank manages to make it out of the kill zone but collides with a large tree further down the road.

The crazy thing about this video is that the Russian Soldier who is recording can be heard pointing out previous impact sites from Ukrainian artillery and rocket attacks. This means that the Russian forces should realize that the pontoon bridge is an on call target for Ukrainian indirect fires, and that it's probably under near constant surveillance by Ukrainian forces.


Regardless of this fact, the Russians still push troops across the pontoon bridge in unarmored troop transport vehicles, and as expected, they get hammered by artillery while they're in the open on top of the floating bridge.
