On April 15, as part of the “Charm of Russia” festival, another inspiring meeting of the Language Club took place.

🎓The session was led by Alina Yuryevna Gromova, PhD in Philology and lecturer of Russian as a Foreign Language. It became more than just a class — it was a space for communication, discovery, and growth.

❤️Participants practiced Russian, discussed relevant topics, completed interactive tasks, and most importantly — engaged in real, lively conversations.

🎓On April 18, our international students became part of something truly special — the vibrant “BiblioNight–2026: Unity of Peoples — the Strength of Russia!” celebration held at the Pushkin National Library.

It wasn’t just an event… it was a journey across cultures, traditions, and shared experiences 🌎

Our students brought the festival to life by creating interactive spaces full of color, creativity, and meaning:

🇮🇳 Discover the beauty of mehndi with talented students from India, and explore the stories behind traditional patterns
😀 Open a Chinese fortune cookie and uncover a little piece of your “future” to take home
✍️ Experience the elegance of Arabic calligraphy — see your name transformed into art and learn the secrets of this ancient writing

🎙 And when the stage lit up, our students shined even brighter — sharing their talents, energy, and passion through unforgettable performances.

🔝 This night was more than a celebration — it was a reminder that no matter where we come from, we can connect, create, and feel at home together.

🔥 Sports Day Without Borders | Games of Russia & the World 🌍

🎓On April 18, as part of the Regional Festival “Charm of Russia”, an energetic and vibrant Sports Day took place under the theme “Games of the Peoples of Russia and the World” 🏃‍♂️

🔝The event was officially opened by Vice-Rector for Youth Policy, Alexander Astafyev, who highlighted the importance of intercultural connection and active student engagement.

International students of Ogarev Mordovia State University explored traditional Mordovian games like “Tyushtyan Nalksemat”, tried new activities, and fully immersed themselves in the spirit of народный sport and cultural exchange.

🤝 Special thanks to Pavel Migunov and the university’s Sports Sector for their incredible support in organizing this unforgettable day.
