The InteRussia Fellowship in Engineering Finishes in Novosibirsk π§«
The InteRussia Fellowship for young engineering professionals has come to an end at Novosibirsk State University.
Over the past month, participants from Ghana, Haiti, India, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Peru, Serbia, South Africa, Sudan and Turkmenistan explored developments in artificial intelligence, engineering and modern technologies while working alongside leading Russian researchers and experts.
What did the participants do during the fellowship?
βοΈ Studied AI applications and engineering solutions under the guidance of experts from Novosibirsk State University;
βοΈ Visited Technopark, Astra Production Company, Vega-Absolute, Novosibirskenergosbyt and Eltex to learn about Russian high-tech industries, telecommunications, energy and industrial automation;
βοΈ Presented their own projects and prototypes developed during the programme;
βοΈ Explored Novosibirsk through a city tour, visited the Cossack's Stockade, the Novosibirsk Zoo and the Novosibirsk Planetarium;
βοΈ Attended a performance at the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (NOVAT).
Throughout the fellowship, participants exchanged professional experience, established international connections and discovered both the scientific potential and the cultural heritage of Siberia.

Proud moment: three fellows selected for the Kostomarov Forum π
The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute has selected three InteRussia fellows β Bayram, Nitish and Madina β to participate in the 6th Kostomarov Forum.
Named in honor of Vitaly Kostomarov β an outstanding Russian linguist and the founder of the Institute β the Kostomarov Forum is an annual international academic and educational event that brings together researchers, educators and language professionals to discuss current issues in the Russian language, linguocultural studies and innovative approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language.
The 6th Kostomarov Forum will take place in autumn 2026. During the event, the InteRussia fellows will present their research and academic projects dedicated to the teaching of Russian as a foreign language.
We warmly congratulate Bayram, Nitish and Madina on this outstanding achievement and wish them every success in their presentations, future research and continued professional growth!β€οΈ

InteRussia Launches Fellowship for African Journalists π
On 7 July, the InteRussia fellowship programme for journalists from African countries officially opened at the headquarters of the International Information Agency and Radio Sputnik in Moscow.
The opening ceremony featured welcoming remarks by:
βοΈ Vasily Pushkov, Director of the International Cooperation Directorate, Russia Today Media Group;
βοΈ Sergey Orlov, Deputy Executive Director of the Gorchakov Fund;
βοΈ Elena Litvichenko, representative of Rossotrudnichestvo.
Sergey Orlov welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of cooperation in the sphere of journalism.
The fellows are young media professionals from Burundi, Zambia, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, and Uganda.
Over the next month, participants will immerse themselves into the Russian media landscape, attend training sessions and workshops led by Sputnik experts, exchange professional experience with colleagues, and take part in events organised by the programme's partners.

Β«The main goal of this programme is to show how we live and work in Russia, introduce you to our country, and explain why Africa is important to Russia today. We are honoured to host young journalists from nine African countries, and we hope this month in Moscow will be special for youΒ».
The fellows are young media professionals from Burundi, Zambia, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, and Uganda.
Over the next month, participants will immerse themselves into the Russian media landscape, attend training sessions and workshops led by Sputnik experts, exchange professional experience with colleagues, and take part in events organised by the programme's partners.

programme with grant support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.
