Curtains Up: InteRussia Theatre Fellowship Returns with a Bigger Stage 🎭

TASS has hosted a press conference marking the launch of the InteRussia fellowship in theatre arts.

First introduced last year as a pilot, the programme returns in 2025 with an extended format, a longer duration, and an even broader international reach.

🔵Applications doubled compared to 2024, reflecting the programme’s growing appeal

🔵This year’s cohort will bring together young actors from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, South Africa, Tunisia, Mauritania, India, and China

🔵The programme has been extended by two weeks, allowing for a richer educational and cultural agenda

🔵Partners include the Gorchakov Fund, GITIS, TV BRICS, the Presidential Grants Foundation and — for the first time — Rossotrudnichestvo

The countdown is on: in less than two weeks, we’ll welcome our fellows to Moscow for an inspiring immersion into Russia’s theatre scene and a truly global exchange of ideas.

The InteRussia fellowship in theatre arts is implemented within the framework of the New Generation program of Rossotrudnichestvo and with the support from the Presidential Grants Foundation.

At Rosseti’s Intelligent Laboratory of Digital Networks, they:

🔹Explored a full-scale 110 kV automated substation — part of Russia’s most powerful real-time power system simulator, where dispatchers rehearse the toughest scenarios.

🔹Visited specialized centers for energy innovation, climate, and mechanical testing — putting infrastructure to the test under extreme conditions.

🔹Discussed import substitution, AI implementation, cybersecurity, and modern data transmission technologies, diving into the real challenges of today’s energy sector.

From Moscow’s underground Skolkovo substation to St. Petersburg’s digital grid lab, our fellows got a firsthand look at the inner workings of energy. Join the journey as InteRussia pulls back the curtain on how power really flows.
