Officers of the SBU’s Main Directorate in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, together with comrades from the first Separate Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, have struck Alchevsk iron and steel works for the second time in a month – one of the key industrial facilities used by the occupiers to support their military production.

The plant’s products are supplied to Russia’s Uralvagonzavod, where military equipment for the Russian army is manufactured, including T-90M Proryv tanks and Msta-S howitzers.

The number of people injured in the morning Russian strike on the market in Nikopol has risen to 25, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha said.

Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman) Dmytro Lubinets has released the findings of a monitoring visit to Uzhgorod District Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support where unlawful detention, unsanitary conditions and the ignoring of illnesses were documented.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the National Program for the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European Union law (the EU acquis).

Due to the full-scale war, 15-20% of researchers have stopped conducting research in Ukraine, with 8% of them having moved abroad, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Denys Kurbatov has said.

"We must distinguish between two large groups of researchers currently identifiable in Ukraine: research staff working in the academic environment and research-pedagogical staff working in universities. The number of casualties from Russian attack on Odesa during the night of Sunday into Monday has risen to 15, with 3 killed, the head of the Odesa RMA Oleh Kiper said.

"As a result of the overnight attack on Odesa, three deaths and at least 15 casualties are confirmed, of whom 13 have been hospitalized. Among the dead are a 30-year-old woman and her young daughter, who was only 2.5 years old, and another woman aged 53. My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. Ukraine will support the publication of 100 translations of Ukrainian books in 33 countries as part of the Translate Ukraine translation projects contest, the Ukrainian Book Institute (UBI) reports.

"This year, 179 applications were received from publishers worldwide—UBI specialists received 18 more requests than last year. 176 projects submitted by 119 publishers from 44 countries passed the technical selection. Based on the evaluation results, the Expert Council supported 100 translation projects. According to the plan, all of them will be released within this year," the Institute said in a statement.

A team from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian overnight UAV attack in Odesa.

"The rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Odesa region, together with all city emergency services, participated in the cleanup of another attack last night. Volunteers helped evacuate four people from under the rubble, including a two-year-old child," the URCS reported on Facebook on Monday.
