i was gifted an asset pack on itch almost a year ago
woke up a bit early today with nothing urgent to do, so i decided to mess around with godot and make a simple platformer.
progress was going well. set up a state machine, also added values and descriptions to exported variables so tuning the feel of the player character would be better
although the asset pack has a lot of animations, it was missing animations for some states i wanted to add. and i don't have that much time to spare on learning pixel art to create and edit animations
i am learning blender doe, which led me down a shallow rabbit hole of dead cell's animation work flow, its such a neat approach which makes it a bit sad that there's only one blog post and like 2-3 youtube videos covering it. still while searching around i found a tool called pixelover and converted an animated 3d model into a 2d sprite sheet(with some dithering and effects added), the result is kinda promising. decent assets can be made with some practice

chainsaw man movie
binged tatsuki fujimoto's filmography over the weekend
chainsaw man movie is genuinely beautiful, although my perception of reze was slightly ruined by a youtube video i watched a while back that analyzed the manic pixie dream girl archetype andher nasty combos on Beam didn't help either. perfect sound effects too
look back is a perfect exploration of friendship, passion, mastery of one craft and imposter syndrome. almost feels like he was writing about himself. they're also making a live action version i think it will be one of those rare instances where a live action adaptation might be close to (hopefully better than) its anime counterpart
17-26 (an adaptation of the short mangas he made when he was a 17 upto his early 20s) is just a consistently good chaotic mix of perversion, the bond between siblings and other topics
next up is reading chainsaw man part 2, fire punch and sayonara eri

Help Us Improve SMS Support for Zemen and COOP Bank
We’re working on adding SMS support for Zemen and COOP Bank, and we could use your help by sharing a few real transaction message examples.
If you use either bank, you can help by sending us some transaction SMS messages. Feel free to replace or hide any sensitive details like amounts, account numbers, names, or balances. Just try to keep the message format the same so we can understand how the SMS is written.
Your support will help us build accurate and reliable support for these banks. Thank you for helping us improve!
