quality healthcare services to the #NavalVeterans/ #Veer Naris and their
families, the fourth edition of the #SAMPARK, an #ECHS Navy outreach
initiative, is being launched. This outreach is an integral part of Chief of the
Naval Staff's #CNS vision to ensure well-being of veterans and their
families, particularly those residing in remote and inaccessible regions.
Sampark 4.0 will focus on establishing direct communication channels
between the veterans and ECHS Navy, promoting a sense of #Camaraderie
and support within the veteran community. 'Sampark' also aims to foster a
deeper sense of trust among veterans and their families, ensuring that they
feel heard, supported, and cared for.
'Sampark 4.0' is scheduled to be launched from
16 December 2024 onwards, wherein a team comprising of one officer and
five sailors will embark on a ten days journey across various regions of
#Maharashtra.

indiannavy #Indian Navy is all set to commission its latest survey ship,#Nirdeshak, at#NavalDockyard,#Visakhapatnam, on 18 December 2024.The 110-meter-long vessel, with a displacement of approximately 3800 tons, is powered by two diesel engines and is equipped with state-of-the-art Hydrographic and Oceanographic Survey Equipment. Nirdeshak, the second ship of the Survey Vessel (Large) Project, is designed to conduct hydrographic surveys, aid in navigation, and support maritime operations. It represents the reincarnation of the erstwhile Nirdeshak, which served Indian Navy with distinction for 32 yearsuntil its decommissioning on 19 December 2014. With an endurance of over 25 days at sea and a top speed exceeding 18 knots, #INSNirdeshak is set to enhance India's Maritime capabilities. It will play a pivotal role in mapping the nation's waters and strengthening India's strategic presence in Indian Ocean Region #IOR through its foreign cooperation surveys.
