I took the SAT in March and got an overall score of 1310 with 530 in Verbal and 780 in Math. After that, I took a long break. Later, I decided to prepare for a new challenge and retake the SAT. However, during my practice tests, I kept struggling with the Verbal section, always scoring below 600. Then my friend Berdibek told me about a SAT course called Makon , so we decided to enroll together for the Verbal course at the beginning of September. My teacher was Mr.Boburjon (the verbal gigachad). The very first words I ever heard from him were “BEPAM,” “Idiot,” “Kys,” “Dead brain cells,” and many other “motivational” insults. I studied hard for my Verbal section — my goal was to get 700+. My teacher’s unique way of “motivating” me through his teasing actually pushed me to improve. I really enjoyed our last lesson where we were talking about praying before the test, Russians drinking vodka and girls cooking for their family. In the end, after just one month with Makon, I scored 720 in Verbal on my October test, with an overall 1460, and a Superscore of 1500.
