Ibn al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] said:

❝A sin that causes submission is better in the Sight of Allaah than a good deed that causes pride.❞

Ibn Qayyim

“Your soul is just like your enemy; if it finds you serious, it will obey you. But if it finds you weak, it will take you as a prisoner.”

Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“The Deen itself is manners. Anyone surpassing you in manners is better than you in the Deen.”

• Key of prayer is purity

• Key of Ḥajj is Iḥrām

• Key of righteousness is sincerity

• & Key of Jannah is Tawḥeed

“Lying has a great effect in (bringing) BLACKNESS to the face.”

Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Invoking Allaah’s name al-Qayyum has a special effect in answering du'as and ending afflictions.”

Ibn al-Qayyim: “Delaying repentance is a sin which requires repentance.”

Ibn al-Qayyim

The intelligent person does not cling to this material world.

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“The Qur’an revives the heart the way water gives life to the Earth.”

Ibn al-Qayyīm [رحمه الله] said:

“Grief, sorrow and distress only occur from two directions:
⠀
1)The desire for the worldly life and having a zeal for it.
⠀
2) And the shortening in the actions of obedience and piety.”

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “The one who is truthful does not care about his status in the eyes of creation.”

"The people of the Qur'an are those who read it and act upon it, even if they haven't memorised it."

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said:

"Nothing is more beloved to shaytaan than a sad believer."

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

"So as you treat others you shall be treated, so do as you want, for indeed Allāh will deal with you in the same manner as you treat His servants.”

May Allah protect us from forgetting knowledge .

Ibn Qayyim said :

"Sins have many side-effects. One of them is that they take away knowledge from you."

Al Imām Ibn Al Qayyim stated ;

"If you want to know what's inside a person's heart , then you should listen to what comes out of his mouth"

I heard Shaykul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah say ;

"Remembrance is for the heart like what water is for the fish , and how would the situation of the fish be if he left the water ?"

[Ibnul Qayyim - Al Wābil 63]

Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Whoever seeks honour, let him seek it by obedience to Allaah through good speech and righteous work.”

❝Ikhlaas is the way to salvation, Islaam is the ship to safety and Emaan is the seal of security.❞
