Alibaba launched its generative AI text-to-image model known as Tongyi Wanxiang for testing by corporate customers in China.
The image generator Tongyi Wanxiang is expected to compete with U.S.-based rivals — OpenAI's DALL-E and Midjourney Inc.'s Midjourney.
Tongyi Wanxiang — which means 'tens of thousands of images' in Mandarin — was launched by Alibaba Cloud for beta testing during China’s annual World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai.

🔦 Key Highlights of Anthropic's Claude 2 Release

The recent release of Anthropic's highly anticipated Claude 2 model has sparked considerable interest and comparisons to GPT-4. 🔸 1. Architectural Similarity: Claude 2 closely follows its predecessor, Claude 1.3, in terms of its underlying architecture.
