NIT Rourkela to impose ₹500 monetary fine If Students found violating Covid rules including found without mask. Why not start fine from Director Sir himself as Director Sir was found in middle of Students without maask and no social distancing even.
3 Covid positive cases were reported at NIT Rourkela campus in last 15 days with first case on 10th March, 2nd on 15th March while a new case was reported on 22nd March.

She scored AIR 37th in GATE 2022.
From College, She received job offer in an Analytics company, but She was always passionate towards working in Mining sector. So She joined Jindal Steel and Power. Later through GATE rank and recruitment process, She got offer from various PSUs like (SAIL, NALCO, HCL, NTPC, CIL) & Finally she selected NTPC.

The Annual Spring Fest of NIT Rourkela named NITRUTSAV had tied up with Slick which allows people to share their thoughts and views anonymously. It made the downloading of the app compulsory by the NITR students, claiming that passes to the pro-show will be available on the app to enter the pro-shows.Majority of the students downloaded the app and few of them posing anonymously posted degrading, derogatory and disgusting posts and polls on the female students of the institute as well as on different aspects of the institute like departments and authorities.The organising team rather than solving the issue, apparently cut ties with the app. Yet the app has not been taken down in the institute and the comments and posts continue to be circulated among the student community.
The Fest Organizing body, currently is not acknowledging the issue and the fest is been continued despite the trauma and rage among the students.
