Blue pond in Biei town in Hokkaido.
I always visit this place when I travel to Biei because I like the blue color of the water very much.
Originally this pond was constructed to prevent damage from an eruption of Mount Tokachidake in 1988🌋.
But when spring water and water from the river began to accumulate, an amazing blue pond appeared by chance.
It is said that the blue color comes from the affection of the sunlight and aluminum in the water.
When there is no wind, the pond looks like a giant mirror.
The best time to go is early in the morning on a sunny day☀️.
Because there is often no wind in the morning and the color of the water changes depend on the sunlight.

Tulips🌷 in Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden. It is an English-style garden located on Enoshima island that is a popular destination for day trips from Tokyo.
They chilled the bulb of tulips in a special way so that it would bloom in the winter.
Best time to see tulips : From the end of December to the end of January.
