Don't answer the door for them. 5 years ago they knocked on 3 different occasions. I never answered and they left. They have no idea who is home or not. Do not answer the door. If you tell them you're not going to fill it you can be charged and facing up to $5000 fine but if you don't give them any evidence or open the door they have no idea who to charge .
Do not open the door for anyone knocking. The Census people are considered stats Canada officers
