The phrase "as well as" means in "addition to" or "and also" in the context of the example that you have mentioned. When "as well as" is used as a conjunction (i.e. in place of “and”), there is no need to use commas before or after the phrase. Moreover, it should always be used with a singular verb.

Cost for Price.

❌ Don't say: What's the cost of this watch?

✅ Say: What's the price of this watch?

💡 Price is the amount of money paid by the customer. Cost is the amount paid by the shopkeeper. We can say How much does it cost?

⚠️( الكلمتان معناهما قريب في المسافة )

❗️ كلمة close يتبعها حرف جر to ،

❗️ أما near فليس معها حرف جر to

There is a school near my house.
هناك مدرسة قريبة من بيتي.

The bank is close to the bus station.
البنك قريب من محطة الباص.


⚠️ لكن كلمة close
ممكن تصف قرب الوقت وليس فقط المسافة

It was close to midnight when we left the cinema.
كان قريبا من منتصف الليل عندما غادرنا السينما.


♻️ إضافة:- كلمة close تستخدم صفة مع الأشخاص وتعني "المقرب"

He is my close friend . He is very close to my heart.
