What's your favourite animal?

There are a couple of animals that I like. Horses and lions are my favourites. Horses are friendly to people, and I enjoy riding them. When it comes to lions, they are considered the kings of animals and symbolise strength and courage.

Have you ever had a pet?

Yes, I have. I used to have a black dog. I liked him very much because he was very smart and well-behaved. When I was a child, we used to play together in our yard. Unfortunately, he passed away last year due to old age.

What's the most popular animal in your country?

There is a wide variety of animals in my country. Many people keep cats and dogs as pets in their homes. On top of that, people also raise sheep and cattle, especially in rural areas, to make a living.

Describe a wild animal you want to know more about

Actually, Iโ€™m the kind of person who is really fond of animals. Back in my school years, I used to enjoy reading zoology books and animal encyclopedias because they contained a lot of useful information about animals, along with pictures.

One of the wild animals Iโ€™m particularly curious about is the tiger. However, Iโ€™ve never seen one in person; Iโ€™ve only seen tigers many times in films and documentaries, and I find them absolutely fascinating.

Talking about their main features, tigers are the largest members of the cat family. They have strong, muscular bodies, powerful legs, and sharp claws. On top of that, they are excellent hunters because they can run very fast over short distances. They also have excellent night vision, which helps them hunt in the dark.

Another reason why Iโ€™m keen to learn more about tigers is their beauty and unique appearance. They have orange fur with black stripes, which really sets them apart from other animals. In the future, Iโ€™m planning to visit zoos to learn more about tigers, as seeing them with my own eyes can help me understand their behaviour and other interesting qualities better.

Unfortunately, tigers are now threatened with extinction due to habitat loss and illegal hunting, which makes me even more interested in learning about them.

Is it more important to protect wild animals or the environment?

In my opinion, protecting wild animals and protecting the environment are inseparable, as one cannot be achieved without the other. The environment plays a fundamental role in sustaining wildlife by providing natural habitats, food sources, and stable ecosystems. Therefore, environmental degradation can have far-reaching consequences for entire species. Take deforestation as a clear example. When forests are cleared for industrial or agricultural purposes, countless species lose their habitats, which leads to biodiversity loss and, in extreme cases, extinction. For this reason, I believe environmental protection should be prioritized.
Should people educate children to protect wild animals?

Yes, absolutely. Educating children about protecting wild animals is essential, as it helps them develop a sense of responsibility toward wildlife and the environment from an early age. Through education, children learn about animalsโ€™ habitats, behaviors, and endangered species. As they grow older, this knowledge helps them build empathy for wild animals, making them more likely to treat animals kindly and avoid actions that harm the environment. In the long run, this can contribute to the protection of the entire ecosystem.

Why do some people attach more importance to protecting rare animals?

There are several reasons for this. First of all, many endangered species are at risk of extinction, which makes people feel more responsible to protect them before it is too late. For instance, animals such as pandas and tigers are classified as endangered due to habitat destruction and biodiversity loss. If effective conservation measures are not taken, these species could eventually disappear altogether. In addition, rare animals often symbolize important values such as innocence, strength, or natural beauty. As a result, losing them would mean losing an irreplaceable part of our natural heritage. For these reasons, rare animals tend to receive more public attention.

Do you think animals are important?

Yes, of course. Animals are essential to the stability of ecosystems. Many animals, particularly insects such as bees, play a vital role in pollination, which directly affects crop production and food security. On top of that, certain species, such as wolves and other predators, act as natural regulators by feeding on weak, old, or dead animals. This helps prevent the spread of contagious diseases, which could otherwise pose serious threats to both the environment and human life. Overall, the contribution of animals cannot be overstated.
Are there any wild animals in the city?

Yes, there are, but not many. In the city, we mainly see birds such as pigeons, crows, and sparrows. Since the city is located far from forests and mountainous areas, it is quite rare to encounter other wild animals in open spaces. However, there is a wide range of wildlife in local zoos, from giraffes and zebras to lions and wolves. For many people, zoos are the only places where they can observe a variety of wild animals up close.

Do you think it's a good idea to let animals stay in local parks for people to see?

Yes, I think it is a good idea, as long as animal welfare is properly guaranteed. Keeping animals in local parks can give people the opportunity to observe wildlife up close, which would otherwise be difficult in natural environments. Seeing animals in real life is very different from watching them in documentaries. This is particularly beneficial for people who live far from natural or green areas and have never seen a wild animal in their lives. By observing animals in person, people can learn more about them and develop a stronger sense of responsibility to protect and care for wildlife in the future.

Why are some people more willing to protect wild animals than others?

I think this largely depends on peopleโ€™s upbringing and personal values. Those who are taught from an early age to respect nature and wildlife tend to be more willing to protect animals. In addition, documentaries and social media platforms have had a strong influence on public awareness by highlighting the negative consequences of damaging ecosystems. As a result, many people have become more conscious of wildlife conservation than ever before.

Yes, absolutely. I think taking children to the zoo can be one of the most effective ways for them to learn about wild animals. Children can observe how animals look and behave with their own eyes, which would often be impossible or even dangerous in the wild. On top of that, seeing different animals in real life can be highly engaging for children and help improve their mood and curiosity. For these reasons, zoos can be good destinations for families to spend quality time together while also learning something educational.
