16:50 A man has been pepper-sprayed in the face near Langham Place. A scuffle ensued between him and the police before they tackled him to the ground and brought him farther away from the scene.
A large number of police including fully geared riot police and raptors have been stationed in the area outside of Langham Place and MTR exit E. Orange police cordons have been set up in the area.
Mall management and the police have closed the main entrance and blocked the view through the glass doors. People can only enter through a side fire exit. A crowd of dissatisfied citizens are standing outside, and some civilians are being searched by police.
