繼澳洲、紐西蘭、英國、加拿大、日本、德國、丹麥及荷蘭等多個國家宣布加入外交抵制行列後，葡萄牙亦加入成為抵制冬奧的國家。

於本月20日歐洲議會中，通過香港基本人權遭破壞的相關決議案，面對中國「正當化專制體制」的企圖，決議文呼籲成員國對北京冬奧採取外交與政治抵制。

葡萄牙外交部長席瓦於24日在歐洲聯盟外長會議後向記者表示，「出於一些原因」，葡萄牙將不會派政治代表參與北京冬奧儀式，並期盼歐盟團結。

Together with other organisations, we hope to take this opportunity to send letters to our brothers and sisters to give them some encouragement and care. If they reply, we will contact the corresponding letter writer as a long-term pen friend.

In addition, we will have a hand crafting class to teach you how to fold origami roses, we will also teach you the five love languages.
