香港葵涌邨為第5波新冠疫情「重災區」之一，截至周二（25日）急增至276宗確診和初步陽性個案，港府周二（25日）宣布夏葵樓即日圍封5天，而累計逾184宗的逸葵樓延長禁足多2天。
邨內居民投訴並力數當局「4宗罪」，質疑區內「困獸鬥播毒」恐釀交叉感染，直言「就算做足防護都確診」，又批評檢測安排混亂、錯漏百出，且當局對頓失飯碗或有特殊需要的街坊亳無協助，居民求助無門，人心惶惶，形容該邨「數日內淪為生化基地」。
另有居民稱，向民建聯新界西南立法會議員陳恒鑌投訴不果，對方僅表示「已發給相關同事」和「因太多電話未能即時回覆」。陳恒鑌回應本台時稱，求助眾多，處理瑣事甚多，在人手有限之下應接不暇，又籲居民以Whatsapp查詢。
「葵青街坊聯合陣線」近日就成功訪問約200名葵涌邨居民，結果發現當中逾80%人「十分不滿檢疫安排」，狠斥當局無做好分流檢測；亦有23%人稱沒有收過政府的糧食補助，卻被限制不得買外賣；另有81人被迫放無薪假或年假，更有11人因而被解僱失業，不滿當局無提供支援、補助。
