歐美多國政要一連兩日，公開關注「民主派初選47人案」。美國國務院及聯合國人權專員周五（31日）分別發聲明，批評裁決結果。
美國國務院更宣佈，會對涉及國安法審訊及作出定罪裁決的，內地與香港官員，實施新一輪的簽證限制。在歐洲，超過40個政要聯署譴責香港當局，並且促請各國政府因應「47人案」採取制裁行動。
繼昨日「七國集團」（G7）的大部分國家派員旁聽「47人案」的裁決，表態不認同港府打壓政治活動，國際社會第二日高調關注此宗被捕人數最多的國安案件。

多倫多的六四35周年燭光晚會，於上周六（6月1日）舉行，來自香港的鄒至蕙首次以多倫多市長身份出席，她回憶35年前多倫多市市民踴躍支持八九民運的情況，又提到不少香港的朋友繫獄，但只要大家站在一起就不孤單。曾參加過「黃雀行動」的朱耀明牧師，首次來到多倫多，他指仍然有不少家屬承受痛失家人的痛苦，而近年香港人亦同樣受到中共的鎮壓，呼籲大家積極為曾經歷的事作見證。

香港國安法：兩宗新煽動罪案判刑
西九龍裁判法院一天內就兩宗《維護國家安全條例》下的「新煽動罪」案件作出判決：
• 諸啟邦（27歲）因在6月12日五周年當天穿著印有「光復香港，時代革命」的上衣並戴上代表「五大訴求」的口罩，被判監禁14個月。
• 鍾文傑（29歲）因在巴士上寫上「香港獨立」等字句，被判監禁10個月。
香港人權資訊中心批評這些判決是荒謬和不合理的，違反了國際人權法，並表示這反映了香港已失去言論自由。
自《維護國家安全條例》實施近6個月以來，至少有14人因新煽動罪被捕。
