【批中國變得「極具侵略性」促放黎智英】

英國外相卡梅倫（David Cameron）接受下議院外委會質詢，作為英中關係「黃金時代」（Golden Era）的開拓者，他反駁「親中」指控，並批評中國現在變得更具侵略性和專斷。他又再次呼籲港府釋放壹傳媒集團創辦人黎智英，及廢除《港區國安法》。

英國外相卡梅倫上任後首次接受下議院外交事務委員會的質詢，他在會議一開始就提到，英國正面對一個更危險不安的世界，而中國和他大學畢業時截然不同， 由剛加入世貿、有望步向民主自由的國家，變成今日「極具侵略性」（incredibly aggressive）的國度。

不過卡梅倫在2010至2016年任英國首相時，曾開創英中關係「黃金時代」，熱情款待訪英的中國國家主席習近平，力推兩國在經貿等領域的合作，把兩國關係推向高峰。

面對議員質疑，卡梅倫強調，今日的中國，已不可同日而語。

卡梅倫說：「很多東西改變了，我想在2010 年，我們政府的首要任務是促進經濟增長、吸引外資、出口商品等。我們似乎有機會和中國建立更好的關係，我們也做到了。不過之後發生了很多變化，有維吾爾人的處境，也有香港的情況，更有戰狼外交的問題，我們面對一個在多方面更專斷且咄咄逼人的中國。」

近日壹傳媒集團創辦人黎智英的「國安案」審訊，控方點名多名英國公民是黎智英的「共謀者」。 英國前首相卓慧思（Liz Truss）去信卡梅倫，促請他介入事件，並採取強而有力的行動。

卡梅倫在會議上未有直接回應，但就重申他早前提出的「三大訴求」。
