Gunfire has reportedly been heard at multiple locations, while police stations and banks are reportedly under the attackers’ control.

The group alleged that the officer was involved in the deaths of its detained members.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack.

The deceased officer has been identified as Abdul Nasir.

Reports also indicate that commandos have reportedly been deployed to the area by helicopter.

The search operation remains in progress.

BRG also claimed that two Pakistani military quadcopters were shot down.

Several bodies suffered severe burns and were left beyond recognition inside the burned military truck.

One FC personnel, Lance Naik Asif Anwar, was reportedly killed, while Naik Muhammad Usman, Lance Naik Ramzan, Sepoy Mujahid and Ghulam Muhammad were wounded.

A young girl was reportedly killed in the strike, while intense firing is reportedly ongoing in the area.

A Pakistani security forces convoy that arrived to provide assistance was reportedly attacked, with one vehicle destroyed.

A Pakistani soldier identified as Rizwan Ullah, a resident of Sarai Naurang, Lakki Marwat, who was serving with the 88 Army Light Air Defence Unit, was reportedly killed while on duty.

A Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel, Sepoy Rahim Gul of Platoon 32, was killed in the incident.

The group alleged that Kareem Dad was an operative of the Pakistani Army and intelligence agencies and a local death squad leader.

BLA claimed he was shot dead by one of its special units in Chagai at around 9:30 AM.

Casualties have reportedly been reported in the incident.
