Have you ever shared the good news of Jesus with someone in your life?

When Jesus was teaching and training the twelve disciples, he often used imagery and metaphors that were part of their culture to communicate important truths to them. In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus relates the work that He is doing to a farmer’s work in the field.

Jesus says that the people who do not know Jesus are like a field of grain that is ready to be harvested. But, there are not enough workers to go and harvest among the fields. Jesus says to pray that God would send more workers to gather the harvest.

Essentially, there are people that are ready and willing to hear and respond to the gospel message, the hope that Jesus brings for every person. But when Jesus says "the workers are few" (Matthew 9:38), what He really means is: there are not enough people sharing the good news with others.

As Christians, we are entrusted with the free gift of eternal life, and we’re tasked with sharing that message with others. However, many Christians keep their faith to themselves.

We are to be bold in sharing the message of the cross with other people so that they can experience new life in Jesus, too.

Take a few minutes today to consider what small step you can take to begin sharing Jesus with other people. Ask your neighbors, coworkers, or friends what their spiritual background is so that you can begin having spiritual conversations. Pray for God to give you courage, and then step out and begin sharing with others.

#የተጠራነው የእርሱን በጎነት/ታለቅ የማዳን ስራ/ እንድናውጅ ነው፡፡ ለዚህ ነው #የተመረጥነው፡፡

እንደ አማኝ ቀዳሚ አላማችን ደቀ መዛሙርት መሆን እና ማድረግ ነው፤ እንጂ ቤተ ክርስቲያን አይደለም። #ደቀመዝሙርነት #ደቀመዝሙርነት እና #ደቀመዝሙርነት ብቻ ነው የክርስቶስ ሃሳብ።

ከሚናስበው በላይ የሚያደርግ ጌታ አለን፡፡ ስለዚህ የምንፈልገውን ከመጠየቅ አንስነፍ፡፡

“ጽድቅን የሚራቡና የሚጠሙ ብፁዓን ናቸው፤ ይጠግባሉና።”

ውድ የሀየር ሚሽን ቤተሰቦች፤ እንኳን ለጌታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ሞት እና ትንሳኤ መታሰቢያ በዓል በሰላም አደረሳችሁ፡፡ በዓሉን ስናከብር ከመብላት ባለፈ የመምጣቱን ሚስጥር በመግለፅ በተግባር እንድናስበው ምኞቴ ነው፡፡ ”ነገር ግን እርሱ ስለ መተላለፋችን ተወጋ፤ ስለ በደላችንም ደቀቀ፤ በእርሱ ላይ የወደቀው ቅጣት ለእኛ ሰላም አመጣልን፤ በእርሱም ቍስል እኛ ተፈወስን።“ ኢሳይያስ 53:5
ድል ልሰጠን ደግሞ ሞትን ድል አድርጎ ተነሳ፡፡
መልካም በዓል!

ንስሐ ማለት የይቅርታን መማፀን ብቻ ሳይሆን፤ ደግመን ያንኑ ኃጢአት አለመስራት ነው። ፍቅር ማለት አለመጣላት ብቻ ሳይሆን በይቅርታ መኖር ነው።

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will praise him, my Savior and God.”
Psalms 42:11 NIV

The psalmist is in trouble (as seen in the above verses). But instead of presenting more compliant to God while his soul is suffering, he challenged his soul to put its hope in God.

True #discipleship is putting our faith in God in whatever situation we pass through. He is our hope, our fortress and our saviour.

“When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you.” Isaiah 43:2 GNTD

It says you will pass through deep water and fire. That means we will pass through trouble, and it won’t affect us when we pass.

Discipleship is not life out of trouble but growing in trouble.

God doesn’t require a lots of things from us. Just a few things, #Justice, #faithfulness and #humility. #discipleship is simply obeying what is required.

“Get the truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgment.”
Proverbs 23:23 NLT

Buy it and treasure it; never sell it. These are very key for godliness in our lives. What an excellent guidance!

Knowledge of him #truth will set us free. And that knowledge comes from #remaining in him, which is true #discipleship.
