Job Title : Logistics Executive
Job Location : Dubai
The Role
The logistics executive will take the overall responsibility for the execution of all freight operations-related jobs. Oversee best freight forwarding process of goods through air/sea/land, managing the effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery service provided to our customers. Should have in-depth knowledge of UAE Import/Export Procedures; Documentation and customs regulation within the Freezone & mainland. Maintain and update company SOPs. Be the customer’s point of contact and shoulder the responsibility to ensure all jobs are completed as committed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA is a plus - Clear Knowledge of the Shipping Industry - In-depth and previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry in a similar role with process development, ideally in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills: ability to present organized and thorough data and business acumens for the intended audience - Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders and the ability to work under pressure in a cross-functional organization - Strong problem-solving techniques and skills - Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) – 2 to 6 years’ experience in freight operations.
