Calling all alpha testers! Update Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds on Steam and get ready to experience some new content! We won't spoil anything for you if you've not seen it, but a new segment of the game has been added, along with many quality-of-life improvements. Much of the new build has already been improved, thanks to our very dedicated alpha testers, but we're still polishing what's here to get it ready for a more public audience, especially for influencers who we have already scheduled to play the game live on their channels.
We appreciate all help with bug reporting and feedback, and will be rewarding all testers with item NFTs or other rewards. If you require a Steam key to access the game, let us know in <#927001208177172510> and we'll get one to you ASAP.

Calling all alpha testers! Update Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds on Steam and get ready to experience some new content! We won't spoil anything for you if you've not seen it, but a new segment of the game has been added, along with many quality-of-life improvements. Much of the new build has already been improved, thanks to our very dedicated alpha testers, but we're still polishing what's here to get it ready for a more public audience, especially for influencers who we have already scheduled to play the game live on their channels.

The team would once again like to extend our appreciation to our very dedicated alpha testers. Through their help, we were able to quash and squash numerous bugs. We still have one last week of testing to go β if you'd like to participate, let us know in β π¬γ»general and we'll provide you with a key and access to β π΄γ»alpha-chat where you may leave your feedback and bug reports!
Also, we've snuck in a little passphrase into the dream sequence at the beginning of the game. After the next update is live (we'll make an announcement), tell us (subtly) if you find it, and you'll get a little something-something on top of the tester rewards

A good point was made in the thread with regards to immersion and overexcessive use of instances. We'll definitely want to weave as many quests into "real" areas organically as we've done so far, and will keep that in mind when experimenting with the first quest instance areas.

Assuming we add the functionality to save during battle, what do you think about us adding larger battles, or battles which are more drawn out? (30 minutes or longer)
MOST VOTES: Not too often would be good.
It seems that people wouldn't mind larger, longer battles. Don't worry, we won't have them super often. More of a I-pissed-off-a-cavernful-of-people-rather-than-trying-to-get-along-and-now-they're-ALL-attacking-me kinda deal.

Steam Next Fest has concluded, and our team has been blown away by the interest in the game's demo! We received lots of positive feedback as well as a ton of wishlists to bootβall of which would not be possible without your support over the course of development. A special shout out goes to our Alpha Testers, whose relentless efforts have been instrumental in squashing the pesky bugs invading Aardeπ«
