Verify the Trusted Email
The trusted email is often the Original Email (OGE). However, if the email has been updated for a while, the trusted email may have changed. To check, log in to Instagram on a mobile device, log out, then click "Forgot Password." Enter the username, click “Need more help” or “Can’t reset password,” and you’ll see hints for the trusted email. Ensure you have access to all listed emails, as the creation email may not appear if it's no longer considered trusted.

Remove Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Ask the previous account owner to disable 2FA before you log in.

Secure the Linked Email
Log into the email linked to the account and ensure it is fully secured.

Update Email, Phone, Password & Enable 2FA
This is crucial. New devices cannot add 2FA or update email/phone for 5-7 days. Have the previous owner update the email and phone to yours and activate SMS 2FA.

Log Out of Active Sessions
Go to settings, select "Security," and navigate to "Security checks." End any unfamiliar sessions.

Download Data to Verify OGE
Go to your profile, tap the three bars in the top right, and select "Your Activity." Scroll to "Download your information," choose "Request a download," then select "Login and account creation" before submitting. The original email details will be in the file provided.

How to Secure an X/Twitter:

Secure the Linked Email
Ensure the email associated with the X account is secured. If no email was provided, move to the next step.

Update the Email
Request the previous owner to change the email to a new one that hasn’t been used before. New logins can’t change the email for 48 hours. Use this link to update it: Change Email

Change the Password
Log in and update the password using this link: Change Password

Remove the Phone Number
New logins can’t update the phone number for 48 hours. Remove it for now and add it later if necessary: Manage Phone Number

Clear All Sessions and Revoke App Permissions
Log out of all devices connected to the account and revoke any app permissions. Use this link: Manage Sessions

Enable Password Reset Protection and 2FA
This feature prevents others from sending password reset requests. Also, enable two-factor authentication: Manage Security

Additional Tips

1. Avoid changing the birthday, as this could trigger account locks.
2. Do not change the username, as it may get taken by a bot.
3. Usernames with fewer than 5 letters cannot be swapped.
4. Verify the original email (OGE) by comparing the account creation date with the first registered email.

How to Secure a TikTok:

Before starting, make sure to secure the account on a mobile device, as the web version provides limited options.

First, check for an external recovery method by selecting the question mark on the login page, choosing "recover your account," and entering the username. If options like Google appear instead of an email or phone number, the account may be linked externally and susceptible to recovery by others.

Check for Duplicate Usernames
Search for the username in TikTok's search bar. If there are multiple accounts with the same username listed close together, the deal might not be secure.

Ask the Seller to Update the Email/Phone to Yours
Go to the profile, click the three bars, then Settings and Privacy > Manage Account > Email / Number. Adding your phone number is recommended for added security.

Reset the Password Using Your Email
Log in and change the password to something new after securing the account.

Remove Active Sessions
Navigate to Settings and Privacy > Security and Login > Manage Devices, and remove any devices that aren’t yours. This is essential, as TikTok may not log other sessions out automatically after a password change.

Enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)
Just below the Manage Devices section, activate 2-step verification to complete securing your account.

How to Secure a Snapchat Account:

Remove Linked Phone Number and Disable 2FA
Request the previous owner to remove their linked phone number by associating it with a different Snapchat account. Also, have them disable two-factor authentication if it is enabled.

Set Up Your Email
If an email isn’t already linked, ask the owner to add your email to the account.

Change the Password
You won’t be able to change the password immediately due to a 24-48 hour restriction. Instead, use the "Forgot Password" option to reset it via your email.

Download Snapchat Data

Secure the Linked Email

Additional Tips

How to Secure a Telegram Account:

Ask the Seller to Change the Phone Number
You won't be able to change the phone number for the first 24 hours on a new login, so have the seller update it to yours.

Have the Seller Manually Log Out of All Sessions
You won’t have the ability to log out the previous owner for 24 hours.

PC: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Show All Sessions.
Mobile: Go to Settings > Devices.

Ensure no active sessions are remaining except yours.

Enable 2FA
Activate two-factor authentication for added security.

Disconnect All Linked Websites
Mobile: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Active Websites and remove any active website connections.
Additional Tips

Customize your privacy settings for "Last seen online," "Forwarded messages," and group/channel additions.

How to Swap a Telegram Account:

There are different types of swaps that can be done on Telegram:

1. Account to Account
For this type of swap, 2FA must be enabled for at least 7 days.

1. Change your account username to something random.
2. Create a public channel using the original username.
3. Instruct the buyer to join the channel you just created.

Transfer ownership of the channel to the buyer.
Mobile:
Edit > Administrators > Select the Buyer’s Name > Enable All Permissions > Transfer Channel Ownership > Change Owner > Enter 2FA Password.

PC:
Manage Channel > Administrators > Select the Buyer’s Name > Enable All Permissions > Transfer Channel Ownership > Change Owner > Enter 2FA Password.

2. Channel to Account
Change the link of your channel from t.me/username to something random.
Update your account username to the original @username.

3. Account to Channel
Change your account username from @username to something random.
Create a public channel with the link as the original username.

Additional Tips:
Claim the username within 15 minutes of release to avoid losing it.
Avoid swapping the username more than twice per hour.

How to Use Fragment:

Download Tonkeeper
Download the Tonkeeper app on your phone, create a wallet, and save the 24-word seed phrase for future recovery.

Connect Tonkeeper to Fragment
Go to fragment.com, click the blue "Connect TON" button, and link your Tonkeeper wallet.

Connect Telegram
On fragment.com, click the "Connect Telegram" button, enter your Telegram phone number, and approve the login in your Telegram app.

Send the Seller Your TON Address
In the Tonkeeper app, find your TON address and share it with the seller. This will be used to receive your username NFT.

Assign the Username
Once you receive the username NFT, go to fragment.com/my/assets and assign it.
If you're assigning it to your account, select "Personal account."

Activate the Username

For Personal Profile: Open Telegram, go to Settings > Edit Profile > Username, and click to activate it.
For a Channel: Go to Manage Channel > Channel Type > Manage Links, then click to activate it.

How to Secure a Minecraft Account:

Access Outlook
Sign in at outlook.com. If prompted, ask the seller for a verification code.

Access Microsoft Account
Click your profile picture, then select "My Microsoft Account."

Clear Linked Devices
In the Microsoft account settings, view all linked devices, and remove them by selecting ‘Remove.’ Double-check that no devices remain connected.

Update Security Settings
Go to the "Security" tab and select "Advanced Security." You may need another code from the seller.
Add new security methods, including two email addresses and Microsoft Authenticator.

Monitor for suspicious activities via Microsoft Account Activity (https://account.live.com/Activity).

Remove the seller's security methods.

Generate a Recovery Code
In the security settings, scroll to the bottom and generate a new recovery code. Save it securely as it’s essential for regaining access. Also, click "Sign Out" to log out of all devices and eliminate seller access.

Update the Password
Change your Microsoft password, which will automatically update your Minecraft account's password.

Update Email Aliases
Add a new email alias and make it the primary alias.
Remove the old email aliases.

Ensure the seller is logged out of both outlook.com and minecraft.net.

Check for Exploits
Use this (https://zyger.net/middleman/exploit/) tool to check for any potential exploits. If an exploit is found, contact Zyger for removal. Confirm with the seller that they’ve logged out of the account from their PC's "Emails and Accounts" settings.

1. Verify the correct in-game name and any capes you expected.
2. Check servers for undisclosed ranks or bans.
3. In "Your Info," update the account name and profile details.

How to Secure a Steam Account:

Verify Account Ownership
Check the account creation date and ensure the registration email matches the account. If they match, you likely have the original email linked to the account.

Change the Password
After logging in, click your nickname in the top-right corner and select "Account Details." Scroll down to find the option to change your password.

Change the Email
While it’s safer to keep the account linked to the original email, you can modify it in the "Account Details" section if needed.

Set Up Steam Guard Mobile 2FA
Add a mobile number for added security. Enable Steam Guard Mobile to receive authentication codes via the Steam app. Deauthorize all devices to ensure there’s no unauthorized access.

Collect Additional Information
Request a list of CD keys used on the account and the last four digits of the credit/debit card used for future recovery. Verify purchases through the "Account Details" section.

Community Locks/Bans
Steam may flag your account as stolen if it receives multiple reports. Provide as much proof of ownership as possible. It’s recommended that the original owner submit recovery tickets from their IP address.

Start by securing the current email or the Original Email (OGE). If the account didn’t come with an email, change it to your own. Go to "My Account" in settings, click "Edit" in the email section, and enter your new email. You’ll need the verification code from the seller to complete the process.

Change the Password
In "My Account" settings, scroll to the password section and create a strong, unique password.

Update the Phone Number
Instead of removing the current number (which can lock the account), change it to your own secure number. Avoid using VOIP numbers as they can cause the account to get banned.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
In "My Account" settings, scroll to the 2FA section and activate it. Use an authentication app for added security.

Remove Connected Apps
In the "Authorized Apps" section of account settings, remove any third-party apps that are linked to the account.

Remove Devices
Go to the "Devices" section and log out of any devices that aren’t yours.

How to Secure a PSN Account:

Changing your password or email on PSN can sometimes trigger a lock and prompt you to enter the account’s date of birth, so it’s important to know this in advance to avoid issues.

Verify the Date of Birth
Log in to your account on the Sony website. Go to "My Account Information" to check or update your birth date, and make sure to write it down for future reference.

Change the Email
On the Sony website, navigate to Account > Security. Click "Modify" to update your email address. Be sure to keep a record of the previous email for security reasons.

Change the Password
In the same Security tab, select "Change Password" and create a strong password with at least 8 characters.

Manage Family Settings
