A large number of riot police drove civilians at the scene away and asked for the journalists to move towards Mong Kok East Station.

A group of civilians were detained outside of Sasa located at Pioneer Centre

1938 |
The gate of Pioneer Centre at Sai Yeung Choi Street was closed. Police released civilians who were previously detained after being stopped and searched.

1945 |
Riot polices at the junction of Bute Street and Sai Yeung Choi Street announced that they were cordoning off Sai Yeung Choi Street South. A few people were hesrd shouting “Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of our Times.”

2000 |
Nearly a hundred civilians gathered at the junction of Sai Yeung Choi Street at Prince Edward and were shouting slogans, like “Liberate Hong Kong, the Revolution of our Times”, “Death to the family of the corrupt police”, etc. Police hoisted a purple flag and dispersed journalists at the scene.
