Riot Police Attempts to Remove Reporter's Face Masks,
Claiming "Journalists? So What?"

The Police arrested over ten people in Canal Road, Causeway Bay at around 6PM.

Police Gave the Assailant a Mask and a Helmet to Wear

A report has been made to the police around 20 minutes ago. The diners were still under the threat of the assailant.

21:26
A Mandarin-speaking woman took photos of other diners in the restaurant and was asked to delete all the photos.

21: 36
Police arrived over 50 minutes later after the report was made. Police pushed away the reporters and prevented them from reporting.

21:38
The woman who took photos of diners' faces earlier entered the police cordon and asked the riot police for help.

The riot police gave the photo taking woman a mask to wear before escorting her onto an ambulance.

Some onlookers pointed out that it took much more time for the police to arrest the man than protesters in general; while some wondered whether the man would be charged of violating the Anti-mask law later

The unsung heroes that are our fearless journalists and members of the press have been braving the flying bullets and rising tear smoke on the front line, bearing their heavy equipment on their shoulders and running alongside our freedom fighters, and reporting the truth of our resistance Movement defiantly day in and day out, night in and night out. Hong Kongers stand in ovation, gratitude and awe towards the professionalism of front-line reporters, yet our hearts weep for those of you who have been injured.

These months of darkness have only elucidated the fact that the bricks and the flames are no symbols of violence, but of resistance, a people's fight against oppression by a bloodthirsty regime. Peace will only return, and our wounds can only heal, if and when the Hong Kong Government answers to our Five Demands. We wish to shed another drop of blood no more. May glory be to Hong Kong, soon.
