Protesters vow more protests to end dictatorship in Thailand
Over ten thousand citizens in Thailand rallied against the Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, calling for his resignation to end the dictatorship. Royal Thai Police deployed water cannon on Friday evening (16 Oct) to disperse protesters gathered at the Ratchaprasong Intersection at city center, attempting to end the 3-day-long anti-government protest.
In spite of government warning and heavy police enforcement, protesters continued to gather and lit up the flashlights on their phones, showing a sea of lights in the torrential downpour.
