Police issue order to disperse in Tin Shui Wai

After consulting with local councilors, the police have allotted 20 minutes for the crowd to disperse. However, from previous events, it is uncertain if the police will start the armed dispersion in the mall early.

Tin Shui Wai District Councillor Ng Kin Wai said the police said that if the crowd does not disperse after 20 minutes, they will enter the mall again and issue fines under the gathering ban. The District Councillor said that the shopping mall is still open, and the public has the right to shop and eat. It is therefore difficult to determine whether the charges will be valid.

District Councilor Ng Yuk-ying transfers a message from the police, suggesting that the force will enter the mall at 8pm, protesters will be prosecuted if they refuse to leave.

Cop Bickers with Expat Gentleman

Police proceeded to argue with an expat gentleman about "who" is allowed in a group, after rushing towards him aggressively. The expat clearly stated he was alone, and did not know anyone else here. When the citizen challenged about the police being themselves in a group, the cop responds that "we are allowed by the law, you are not."

Gentleman responded, "You think that's okay though, coming at me with a big intimidating group, shouting at me, bro?"

5 citizens, not knowing each other, surrounded by police and faced possible accusation of violating the gathering ban

Large of amount of police surround 5 citizens outside of ParkNShop (a local supermarket). They were let go around 10 minutes later, but it was not sure whether the citizens were given tickets due to seeming violation of the gathering ban. Yet reporters recorded them not being in one group earlier and could be provided as legal support.

Police charges towards the park after hearing a sound of shattering glass

A police commander spoke through a mobile phone warning civilians on the scene to disperse or they could risk violating the Prohibitation on Group Gathering Regulation.

10 minutes later, a loud sound of glass shattering is heard on the scene. A large group of riot police charges toward the park area. Reporters point out that riot police patrol around the park but could not found anything, so they return to station around the hotel nearby.
