US Senator Jim DeMint: I’ve changed my mind about China, America should too

“I’ve changed my mind about China,” said former US senator Jim DeMint, “America should too.” Having belief in free enterprise, markets and trades, DeMint supported George Bush’s agenda of letting China into #WTO, which according to him, was a hard but right vote as he had believed. However, never would he realize was that the dictators of China were so capable of corrupting the world into their benefit. Instead of playing under the rule they prey on America, and the rest of the world alike. Human right in China remains a disaster, but international organizations and #US congress are too intertwined with it to make any move. And eventually, it leads to the loss of American sovereignty and interest. America cannot be truly free nor safe if it continues to depend its necessities on a hostile adversary.

this pandemic has given its warning. The question is, how far can #America get away with blaming them, be it #China or international bureaucrats, who have no reason to serve America’s interest by definition? Letting these people get away with their shady business is an indisputable failure of the government that Americans need to wake up into and call a change on.

China Propaganda Machine Spreads to the US

It is found that massive amount of tweets and Facebook posts about the US protests circulating on the Internet were posted by social media accounts registered in China.

According to Dr. Shen Bo-yang (Puma), assistant professor of criminology in National Taipei University, as of May 31, 2020 Chinese has engendered over 70,000 said engagements in the social media world.

China's goal to defame protesters in all places has become obvious, as the chief editor of a China state-run tabloid Global Times Hu Xijin (@HuXijin_GT) tweeted the following on May 31:

"I highly suspect that Hong Kong rioters have infiltrated American states. Attacking police stations, smashing shops, blocking roads, breaking public facilities, these are all routine in their protests. Vicious HK rioters obviously are mastermind of violent protests across the US😡."

Despite China's attempt to influence international opinions from the coronavirus pandemic to the protests in the US, China has repeatedly reprimanded the international community for "meddling with China's internal affairs".

Auxiliary Police Director States in Interview that HKPF Acted Rationally and Reasonably, Unlike US Police Officers

During the entirety of the Anti-ELAB Movement, police law enforcement has been repeatedly controversial. Auxiliary Police Director Edgar Yeung accepted Hong Kong 01's Interview earlier this year, which was published today. In the interview, Yeung said that in the face of the anti-ELAB movement's student-dominated clashes, that "I think the United States officers would've fired guns, but in Hong Kong we only shoot you with warm water!" He also defended the two police officers who left Yuen Long Station on 7.21, pointing out that the two police officers could not handle the situation at the time. "Who were they supposed to shoot? The sky? What if the whole band rushes them after they empty their cylinders?"

Yeung’s current position is the Chief Marketing Officer of Sun Hung Kai Properties and has served as an auxiliary police for more than 30 years.

US Sanctions a Chinese Tech Company for Helping Venezuela to Suppress Dissents

The U.S. Treasury Department announced sanctions against on a Chinese technology company on Monday (November 30), accusing the company of helping Venezuelan President Maduro to undermine democracy. On the other side, the Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a regular press conference on Tuesday (December 1) that U.S. action was simply an excuse to suppress the Venezuelan and related Chinese firms.

The Treasury Department has frozen the assets of China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation (CEIEC) in U.S., restricting America companies from conducting business with it, but allows a buffer period for U.S firms and individuals to wind-down pre-existing business with CEIEC until 14 January. The Treasury Department has also frozen assets of any company in which CEIEC holds more than 50% of shares.

A statement from the Treasury Department indicates that CEIEC is a “commercial version of Beijing firewall”, providing specialized technology to block the live streams of independent media and the opposition leader Juan Guaido. The statement also pointed out that CEIEC supports Maduro government in restricting internet services, conducting digital surveillance and cyber operation to target political dissident.

The most dangerous place on Earth

America and China must work harder to avoid war over the future of Taiwan

The test of a first-rate intelligence, wrote F. Scott Fitzgerald, is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. For decades just such an exercise of high-calibre ambiguity has kept the peace between America and China over Taiwan, an island of 24m people, 100 miles (160km) off China’s coast. Leaders in Beijing say there is only one China, which they run, and that Taiwan is a rebellious part of it. America nods to the one China idea, but has spent 70 years ensuring there are two.

China is using vaccines to push its agenda in Latin America, and the U.S. is behind the curve, experts say

China in recent months sent more than 165 million Chinese-made vaccine doses to Latin America and the Caribbean, accompanied by a concerted public relations campaign highlighting Beijing's role.

The United States until recently was focused on getting the coronavirus outbreak under control, and has shipped out few vaccines. President Joe Biden has promised to give away 80 million doses but his administration has yet to announce where it will send vaccines abroad.

Members of Congress and regional experts say the administration needs to catch up with China and start getting vaccines to Latin America, and to make sure the world knows that the vaccines are coming from the U.S.

A quiet battle is raging in Congress over how the US will respond to China's growing power

Under Donald Trump, the beltway's view of China shifted from one of relative complacency to one verging on alarmism.

The bipartisan consensus on the need for a significant response to the rise of Chinese power has now driven major new China legislation in both the Senate and House. While both bills are forceful responses to China's increasing power, they present critical choices as to how extreme the turn in America's China policy will be.

China indulging in 'unrestricted warfare' against India, says report

Two Chinese officers in 1999 put forward different methods to beat the US, these were the methods that could be used by nations that could not compete with the West in terms of military

In their book, Unrestricted Warfare: China's Master Plan to Destroy America, they suggested ways to avoid a military confrontation with the US military, these ways included targeting financial systems, economical setbacks, taking infrastructure under control, cyber attacks, political propaganda and other 'indirect wars', said Author Janet Levy in American Thinker.
Undoubtedly, these tactics have been accepted by the Chinese government, especially, against the US ally India.
