Hong Kong authorities' Heavy handed response to pitch invaders at Inter Miami visit
The American professional soccer team #InterMiami made a visit to Hong Kong, but fans were left disappointed as football legend #Messi sat out at the game. Despite this, after the match, fans managed to sneak onto the pitch at the Hong Kong Stadium, where they were able to snap photos with Beckham and even secure his autograph.
One fan recounted how LCSD staff took down his address and hinted at potential charges. When others voiced concerns about potential future security measures, Sam responded, "He can't help it; I simply wanted to do what I wanted to do. This kind of behavior is common in overseas stadiums; many fans act similarly.
Inter Miami conducted pre-match training at the stadium last Saturday, during which some fans invaded the field in an attempt to obtain signatures from Messi and Beckham. The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) issued a statement in the evening, strongly condemning several spectators for disregarding public and player safety, violating regulations by trespassing onto the field, and causing chaos.
They reminded spectators not to intrude onto the field to avoid disturbance, warning that strict measures would be taken, including immediate expulsion from the venue and potential police intervention.
