District Councillor denounces Hong Kong police for covering-up force's wrong doing

Tuen Mun District Council Lam Chun was gravely concerned about a civilian being kicked by a riot police when he was forced to leave the shopping mall.
Lam claimed that there were sufficient evidence for the police force to establish a case, include onsite witness, surveillance camera footage and video footage provided by reporters.
When being asked about effectiveness of reporting the case to the police force, Lam blatantly said, “apparently police will try to harbour and cover up for their fellow colleagues. This has been happening since July last year and will happen without a question.”
